This case actually looks much better than the spigen one which I can't fathom why people think it's anything special. I wish these types of cases were offered in vibrant colors other than black.
Yeah it’s all personal preference but I can agree that I like this and looks better than Spigen.

This is by far the best case on the market. I just got mine for my pro max 15. Filip and the team have picked up where they left off. It hits everything I was hoping for since gen 4. Grips are awesome the fit is clean and tight. Well done!!

I just received my phone rebel GEN five and wow what an awesome Case! I really like what they've done still making the corners very protective, but a little slimmer and love the grip on the side of the case. Looking forward to really putting this thing through its paces.

I’ve been wondering does having a high Magnet strength in your case damage the phone? I know Mous has a pretty average MagSafe strength but it’s because they follow apple guidlines. Would super strong cases like this one damage the phone?

I purchase the case and so far this is one of the best rebel case ever the feel how grippy and how nice it hugs the phone is perfect its not like other brands that the case feels loose even with the phone in the case

Hey Tee! My initial thoughts: GEN5 is FLAWLESS. Personal preference, but if they somehow can meld the materials from the GEN4 and the GEN5, the GEN6 will be the case to beat. I find the grips to be a bit too much (in my opinion), especially after holding the phone for a while. What are your thoughts?
Also, in regard to overall protection and building quality, do you choose the rebel or Mous limitless? (I know the clear winner when it comes to MagSafe though lol)

Just got my Gen 5 today and came back to this video to let everybody know …..it’s the best case you can get for your iPhone. This video doesn’t even do it justice! I’d be surprised if this case isn’t number one for the rest of this year when the top cases come out. I don’t see any other case beating this one. Just my opinion tho. 🤷🏽♂️
The last 2 generations of phone rebel cases both warped around the volume buttons. I can’t give them a 3rd chance. They were great cases for like 2 months and then the material on sides started coming apart and bowing on both gen 3 and gen 4 near the mute toggle

Something I’m going to pay close attention to. I know I’ve heard that hear and there and I know the case gets better each year so time will tell.

ordered this case last night and i'm trying not to worry too much about all those reviews regarding splitting sides on rebel cases and lasting only a couple months😭 i'm not rough on my phone, just really wanted the lip protection on the cameras and these guys seemed like they had the most coverage for the cameras

My gen 3 for the 13pm, lasted like 7 months. The sides split apart and I did get the bowing as well. Hopefully when I upgrade phone and get the case I don’t get the same problem.
The same exact thing happened to my gen 3 and gen 4 cases after 2-3 months. Right above the volume buttons for both
@@ericroberts7380 yup. I have heard of others that it happened to. It’s concerning. I superglued both sides when they came undone, but I can’t fix the bowing effect. So I had to toss the case. Completely warped beyond repair

Originally I was going to buy Rebel case, but was put off by some negative reviews regarding build quality. Pitaka was discarded because of very minimalistic design and I'm left with Benks vs Mous... Which of the two will protect my 15PM better (when it arrives)?

It’s a little chunky but I don’t feel like it’s that bad. The Benks is going to be slimmer for sure but this is going to be more protective.
Can you recommend a 14:11 great full coverage case similar to this for the 14 pro. I looked at this one but it doesn’t cover the side on the 14 pro model.

Yeah I tried it and it seems like they fit fine.

Yeah it gives it a little bulk but much better protection that the Pitaka. It’s really on personal preference and I’m going to use it some more and then I’ll for sure do a case battle between the two.

Yes there is. I just got an email back from them stating that.
They coated the buttons with a ceramic layer.

Man I’ve been binge watching your videos to get me through the day and you hit us with yet another banger salute 🫡 Rebel cases really look solid this year. I’m debating going with the nomad horween leather case or Aspen Leather case. I want to go with Nomad so bad but the price is steep for me. Not a fan of that price so I’m thinking about Aspen instead especially because it doesn’t have the rubber silicone on the sides of the case. Also I came across a review that the nomad case doesn’t have a snug fit as the top and side around the button of the TPU frame are slightly loose when pressed on which reminded me of what your were saying about last years Nomad case. I hope they fix all that soon because for $70 that’s a lot of red flags for me. Yeah, Aspen for me lol hope they fixed all that by the time you get their case in.

I have the mous aramid fibre limitless 5.0 on my 15 pro max and it’s a great case. But I’ve also just ordered the gen 5 now. I’ll probably use both and swap about but can’t go wrong with a mous I don’t think.

How would you compare this to the Pitaka pro?
Pitaka Pro is still great but I think you get more features for the price when it comes to the Gen 5. But less is more in some cases so it really depends.

Yeah they do but if you want an action button for you’re pro or pro max case you will need to get the new ones when they come out. I asked there CS team in email. But old buttons fit the new case

Yo Tee, I’ve never had a phone rebel case. This thing looks legit and I like the sound of the camera kickstand but I’m concerned with finger prints 🤔
It didn’t look like the type of case that would show them but it is a minor issue?
Every aramid fiber case will have fingerprints and that something you can’t escape. I don’t worry about that because it’s a case for the phone so I’m not really worried about the prints.
Wonder why you can remove the rebel branding? What else can go in there?

I’m really not impressed with the gen 5 compared to the gen 3 for the Pro. It feels significantly bulkier and weighs 10g more for no change in protection. The sides are much blockier and less contoured and while the grip is nice, it doesn’t make up for the sides becoming almost flat. The buttons just don’t look as good as the flat clean buttons from my late gen 3. Regarding protection, the corner bumper inserts are smaller than on the gen 3.
Looks like they made the first place 😉

Disappointing to see the case still rocks due to warping or uneven sides. I had that on my first flex series and would have hoped they fixed it by now.

Tee can you do a wear, and tear video? I mean I guess you can pick cases that you've had for 6-months to 1 year, but some of us want to know how these cases hold up, and wear over time.

Purchased this case on the back of your review, and it's safe to say I'm extremely impressed with it so far! Really well built case. Can't wait for the accessories to drop now! Definitely better than any other case I've tested so far in my opinion, I hope this makes it to the top spot on your list when you do your top 10 cases video :)

the crazy thing is this case could have been priced as 60 for what it provides but they have it priced perfect for a phone case that also comes with a screen protector. I still have a issue with the four corners but maybe I just hold my phone to aggressively
The corners honestly are a little more smooth and I think you would find it more comfortable than the Gen 4.
Man if only they made these newer and sick cases for the older iphone models like my 13 pro max. These things look incredible!

I'm curious if you noticed the rather small shape of the USB-C opening on this case. Too small for many normal connectors, like a normal Cable Matters charging cable. I love the case but had to return it because the USB cut out was so small. Compare it to some of the others like the Pitaka Pro or the Speck Presidio 2. This rebel has a very differently shaped opening. Not as wide side to side. What are your thoughts?
