I had my first try at this back in 2015 with the graco 465 we had 20 doors to do and used bits of flat sticks but these look better to use good job btw!
Hi, would you mind sharing what those door braces are called? Also, when spraying door no3 and edge of the door no2, do you not get dry overspray on already sprayed door no1? Thank you
they are Quick truss door bracers. You used to be able to get them from decorating direct but I dont think they do them now. The trouble is that there is no mark up on them once you add in the hassle of importing them.
Why didn't you put up plastic behind these to catch the overspray? Now you have blue paint on the wall and ceiling, even if you are going to paint them later you're going to have to deal with that before you can paint them. Also, don't you have blue overspray on the other side of the doors when you paint the edges?
You shouldnt get overspray on the ceiling unless you point the gun upwards, we would usually only spray doors like this in a room yet to be finished but if we were worried about overspray and the ceilings were low then yes we would protect. We are not worried about overspray on the edges as we are going to paint them blue too - if they were 2 colours then we would mask off for sure yes
Usefull thankyou. do you packer the doors off the floor?
