theres an even better one, throw a pad straight up as octane, quickly switch to mirage before the pad touches the ground, and now you can send your decoys on the pad for tracking!
I like how I see comments about the "Mirage tip" and immediately could tell what it was. I never heard of it before, and its so simple yet I never thought about it.
Ik this is a little bit of an older vid but damn 250 subs with this kind of content? Type of quality I’d expect of someone in the 10k to like 50k subs range good shit man
When I posted it I wasn’t even at 100 yet so even being where I’m at now feels a bit surreal. Means a lot that you think my contents capable of reaching those numbers as is. Thank you very very much.
After you get comfy with recoil on controller work on movement just go over to the dummy in the middle and wall jump/super glide around and beam the dummy.
@@GenericEdBoi i havnt really practiced aimming and ive reached radiant in val and earned 13k from playing fortnite its really just how your brain works in my personal experience. All "aim training/ kovaaks" has ever been good for is warming up before playing but it never will make you that much better. You will stop improving after awhile and it will never get you to a top tier level just from practicing everyday
Should I buy the strike pack then? My aim doesn’t improve. Close to 500 hours aim training plus my 8 years on fps games on roller and still have worse aim then rookies
I heavily advise against that because I consider it cheating, as do many others. I think it’s time to sit down and really dig into your habits and practice to ensure you’re doing the absolute best you can to improve.
I enjoy the video, but there is some close mindedness on the ways you think a person can approach being successful, I say this as a 3x ALGS semi finalist, PC NA MNK. Now me saying that may make it sound anecdotal, practicing rifling instead of using a wingman which though requires less movement will require stronger centering, and spray control, smoothing is key for horizonal control of the spray pattern, since vertical is a moderately relative thing to master. Different types of motions require different types of practice, and anything that can translate from one circumstance into an in game scenario may be worth exploring. learning how to do effective static clicking like those flicks you describe as unnecessary though unrealistic in need, may be something that helps you develop your pivot position, centering, and resetting your neutral position.
Mate thank u so much for these tips as a controller player I did need some of these tips to improve and try and get on the the level of mouse and keyboard players. Very nice and chill video all together Thanks again
@@GenericEdBoi well if you decide it's something you are interested in starting please write my name and hit me up on Twitter. It's the same as my RUclips. We can work out the details when the time comes bud.
so heres the thing. recoil control forces you to learn how to micro correct accurately and efficiently. lots of people lack this skill and is reflective in their gameplay. while you may not use the pattern itself practicing micro corrections is super overlooked and very important.
Great video. The mirage practice never would’ve thought of going to use that more. If you could go into detail about aiming and fights. And what exercises will help you in those fights that would be pretty awesome. I feel like struggle a lot more in the mid range because the targets get a lot smaller and when they have fast strafes “ wingman , p20, re-45” it’s a really challenge. Thanks for all your hard work in this video can’t wait to see more
So, some of that is 100% true some is very individual. But mirage strafe thing is the best idea I saw for a long long time, Good Job. And what is your reticle colour? i never like blue BCS I cant look at it without blurriness but your looks so clean and good.
Sadly the only real way to improve it is via visualization and actually armor swapping. You can practice opening a loot box and pinging the armor maybe?
was gonna name the video something chill with the words "warm up" but I feel like that doesnt really get anyones attention so i went with the BANG BIG HYPE WORDS
Just want to discuss that why people said Apex doesn't have recoil. It's because there are recoil smoothing or jittering aim (base on recoil smoothing). However, we still need to practice doing them consciously. Btw nice tracking right there. That is impressive!!
Right, recoil smoothing helps a whole lot but the skills learned from recoil control are well worth it regardless of it’s practicality. Thank you for the compliment :) I appreciate it.
@@GenericEdBoi I just tried it for a bit and it actually helps a bit with tracking (which is probably my weakest point). I also started mirage ulting to practice target switching aswell. Can't hurt for sure! Thank god mirage cooldowns are short :)
@@GenericEdBoi np dude. Keep going with it. You appeared in my recommended so let’s just hope you’ve hit the algorithm. I’ll be here to see it all lol. Good luck :)
Very valid question. Essentially within a br setting the amount of time you’re actively fighting is pretty small. Plus if you’re really cold you may end up hot dropping and dying on repeat making it hard to effectively get any practice in.
@@GenericEdBoi can confirm recoil patterns are not worth learning on controller just recoil smooth and pull the stick down left for light down right for heavy.
that mirage strafe thing is actually a great idea
im not sure how to gauge how useful it actually is but aye it may work lol
dude this is actually so helpful - nobody talks abt how you should really be going about learning recoil and u explained it perfectly
Not gonna lie the mirrage tip is extreamly underrated and never talked about im glad you did! Thank YOU
You’re very welcome glad I could give that method some more coverage. As far as I know I don’t think anyones talked about it in the past.

What is this colore reticle numbers? Looks really nice that blue

If you can I would practice super glides as much as possible
I really should. Time to add it!

I occasionally post montages on twitter if you wanna check some out there!

fair enough. i find the quality of matches just varies too much ya know?

There is no such thing as a perfect aim and whos this guy to be talking about perfect aim when I've never seen him in any high level game
