If you have silver on your pipes and there is a competition or a wedding or a dinner coming up up, give it a wee bit of a clean.Makes a difference. Lovely playing. Look forward to lots more !
As gokhan100 says, the hornpipe is "Lucy Cassidy". The jig is, in fact "Turf Lodge" composed by P/M Angus MacDonald, after the 1st Battalion Scots Guards' tour of Belfast back in 1971. It can be found in Scots Guards Book 2. The 'B's in the last part as supposed to represent the sounds of bullets flying overhead, I believe !
@Felinestance A few nerves can be good for the concentration: Sarah went on to win the competition, and was awarded the Fred Morrison set of Reelpipes !
With respect, the jig is "Turf Lodge" and NOT "Alan MacPherson of Mosspark". Both were composed by P/M Angus MacDonald, but "Turf Lodge" begins with an 'F' doubling and has a theomòl (gracenotes GBG) in the second bar, as played here, and as I have entered in the description above. The score for both tunes can been seen and compared in the Scots Guards - Vol. 2.
piperbob2 I apologize, yes! I remember now. I'm just coming back into things after an extensive break, and had a Brain Fart... You are totally correct. 😄
Fantastic. Non pipers would not appreciate how good she is.

Or go for McCallums nickel alloy mounts - they don't tarnish, so don't need cleaning !

piperbob2 What also confused me is the fact that Angus always played these two together lol
Hornpipe is Lucy Cassidy, sorry i'm afraid i can't name the jig. Cheers
What is the name of this first marsh??
It's not actually a march, it's a hornpipe called "Lucy Cassidy".
Jig may be "Dancing Feet"
No, the jig is "Turf Lodge" (see below) composed by P/M Angus MacDonald. "Dancing Feet" is a reel by P/M G.S. McLennan
TURF LODGE
what's up with that right hand? I'm surprised her hand doesn't go numb. she's decent,I'm just saying that breaking your wrist isn't great.
spartan4126 I’m sorry who are you? I highly doubt you could play a h and j aswell as she does...
This is my tutor!!! Sarah muir, she’s one of the worlds top female soloists
@@sandrasimpson2358 Male or female, she's got great skill.
Grand expression and fingers to make most pipers jealous (including me).
You can see how nervous she is
