I'll bet the US paid 200 million dollars for this.

Good day, I am interested in a unit that can run a 250-300kw generator. I hav a good supply of dry woodchips that can be used as fuel source

I looked into some of this and you lose about a third of your power through efficiency or the difference between British thermal units with gasoline and diesel versus wood gas you have to get a larger generator if you are already about maxing it out basically a 15 KW turns into a 10 KW but the good news is you can find the larger generators at a pretty reasonable price when a store replaces them because nobody wants them do the fuel efficiency so they're perfect for this type of project

So you worries about the efficiency ratio while there are zero electricity at all in remote places?
      That makes sense.

@@nonconformist4802 no I was looking at a generator that ran off of hydrogen and diesel generators run @ generally 1800 RPMs and gasoline @ 3600 RPMs since it runs at a consistent RPM as long as you size the hydrogen generator correctly it should not be a problem it's the storage of hydrogen and being able to produce and regulate it. on demand wood gasifiers are very interesting and cool they're dirty though

@@nonconformist4802 sorry I missed that you lose about 30% efficiency in BTUs wood gas being compared to gasoline so if you have a 15 KW generator it will only produce about 10 KW using wood gas but if you have a 30 KW it will produce around 20 kW using wood gas.. so just make sure you get a bigger generator then what you think you're going to need
