That was very interesting, the whole thing. It was also very cool that they would invite you out to film an interview with the boss. I think it shows that they are accessible and want to show their face to their end-customer. Thanks for that.
I love the Palio brand. I have been using their oversize 70 ring gauge cutter and triple flame lighter from them for years. High quality and reasonably priced. No complaints whatsoever!
Appreciate this series as I love watching your channel and learning more about premium cigars. I personally don’t have a lot store bought accessories as I make my own. But I do enjoy my Colibri accessories. Thanks again awesome video👍🙏🥃
As someone who has just gotten into cigars, i found that i really like a torch lighter with a butterfly straight cut. It makes me feels super classy. My combo together costs about $66
I was very impressed with the Lafuli cigar lighter. Complete lighter , punch, cigar holder, and draw stick in one. Looks like a lightsaber hilt. Very well made an good quality. 👍
Awesome video Tim. I love your deep dives into all sorts of subjects related to the cigar culture. Cigars Daily is like the National Geographic of the cigar industry.
I kept hoping to see him light a cigar with the micro boutique Cigar Prop and spin one on the lathe.. Hopefully he can do it next time he's in Florida, the bleed tool is awesome.
You taught me how to smoke cigars correctly! Love your channel. Just wish there was a real cigar shop near me. Closest one is over 100 miles so I'm stuck with a tobacco mart and what I can find online that accepts PayPal cause I don't like dropping my CC info on just any site
Thanks Tim! I look forward to more of the Cigar Heartland. I use a Xikar XO cutter and a Xikar Tactical torch. I like the pocket clip on the torch, not many come with one. It will be good to know any issues will be easier to resolve there. Thanks for the tour! I'm an accessory junkie; one day I will spring for one of those giant humidors!
@LeeLee-gy7gp you aren't the first to mention that to me for sure. However, in this case, the xo cutter has cut several hundreds of cigars for me in the last 3 years and has no signs of slowing yet. The lighter, I am less impressed with. It needs to be set too high to start without sputtering, which means I am filling it like every other day at best. And the finish wore off the edges on like day 2. Cheap lighters are truly the best ones anymore.
Tell me if I’m crazy. I work from home and sometimes I can’t walk away to smoke a stick or I don’t have a hour to dedicate because I also have kids but have been smoking cigars for years now. Would it be wrong of me to take up vaping when I’m low on time? I don’t want to inhale into my lungs but I think this can give me my kick when I need it. What is everyone’s thoughts?
Do you know how to straight cut? I'd bet you've been doing it improperly. You only remove the cap. Its very little compared to perception. You've been cutting too much off.
The Xikar warranties are a pain now. Xikar doesn't want shops to send out broken accessories on behalf of the customer, but instead want the customer to go directly to Xikar. A lot of customers PREFER to have the shop do the dirty work, and just call them when the new accessory has arrived. Also the owner mentioned repair or replacement, but it seems like Xikars are cheaply made, so much so, that they basically always replace the lighter, as if it's cheaper to replace than trying to repair. Even if something simple like the piezo has gone out. I have worked at a shop and never seen the same exact lighter come back repaired. Sometimes, guys will get an engraving on their lighter and Xikar doesn't care, they just send a different one back and not necessarily even the same color. ON TOP OF ALL THAT, they take forever now to do replacements compared to the time before QI bought Xikar. I believe they have tarnished the Xikar brand and over time people will see this more and more unless they make a change.
This has been the experience from my customers at my shop so we no longer carry the brand. You are spot on 💯 it was really good in the beginning, now its a pain.
Not a fan of Xikar! I sent back my torch and cutter that broke and they mailed them back broke! When I reached out by calling them they said to just mail it back. No thanks how much do I need to spend in shipping just adds up. I’m out $200 but work in the cigar industry and won’t recommend it for this reason. What good is a warranty if they won’t stand behind it? They could have sent me a new cutter and lighter but they don’t seem to care. Have a great day! I recommend Jet-line. What do you use?
Hey cigars daily, it hurts to write this but I need help. Since I’ve started smoking cigars (a couple months ago) I’ve sought out a good experience with a flavorful cigar. A cigar that keeps you coming back for more. A cigar with hints of fruit, chocolate, or any combination of the sort. Sadly, each and every cigar I’ve tried has left me disappointed. Maybe I’m not made for cigars. I say this because earlier I tried a Olivia V Melanio (Maduro). I was hoping for coco and other unmistakable flavors but all I got was a grass and earth flavor. I was so disappointed i put it down. Criminal I know. I so desperately want to enjoy cigar smoking and the ritual of coming home after a 13 hour work day, busting out a cigar, and having a blast sitting on the porch smoking the day away. Any cigars you can suggest? Anything I should try? I need help man
Bro Cigar Hound & DJ were straight up hating on cigars daily & Tim on Cigar hound dogs latest live stream and it put a bad taste in my mouth bc I’ve never heard Tim or Terrance or anyone talk ish about them, then dudes some feminine a$$ betas for doing that crap, I unsubscribed from them drama queens lmfao 🤣 oh and they mad bc Tim is selling Gurkhas, basically eluding to that Tim is a sellout, I seriously didn’t even know they didn’t like him but their energy just gives off hater vibes, maybe bc Tim has a bigger channel than all them combined but I couldn’t believe they were taking shots like that, they also said Tim is always happy or some BS like he never gives criticism like what, Tim gives criticism all the time, they were just hating bro and in their feelings not to mention this is the 2nd time DJ had said/done something that threw me off of his channel so yeah he just seems snakey and drama bruh, anyways I digress KEEP GRINDING CIGARS DAILY AND F#CK THE HATERS! 🤘😎🤘
I just rewatched the portion of our livestream you’re talking about - considering what was said, this reaction of yours is overboard. Thanks for the support up till now, wish you nothing but the best for your future.

@Ghostblaze1 Thank you for your candid feedback regarding the Cigar Caddy. As information, we do not use any chemicals in the foam within the Cigar Caddy. As employees and users of the Cigar caddy, we are all tenured cigar smokers, carry our personal smokes in our Cigar Caddys, and have never had this experience. We are curious about your experience with the foam and would like more information about the "seepage" you experienced as the cigar caddy is waterproof and crushproof. Please get in touch with us directly so we can learn more about the issue you are experiencing.
This is, by far, the best series you all have ever produced on this channel. Kudos. Please continue to produce content like this!!!

Tim thanks for bringing Quality Importers to our attention.. I live in South Florida and have plans now to go visit them.. 😃👍
I've had my Stinky for about 15 years, love it.
I’m still fairly new in the Cigar game and what is a Stinky ?🤔
@@devildog3125 Stinky is a brand that makes ashtrays. Ashtrays that hold a lot of ash and butts. They're my favorite ashtrays.
Moving to Florida next month 🎉
Love it Tim, learning about the actual industry is so cool and appreciated look forward to more of these videos!
So exiced to see all the videos of your trip. This first one is epic. "Who are you"? LOL
Thanks for what you do Tim! Have a goodnight everyone!
what an episode! i am new to the cigar world within the last year, I had zero clue how huge this industry is!
I subscribed cause your a legend mate, been watching since your tnt days ❤
I love the Palio brand. I have been using their oversize 70 ring gauge cutter and triple flame lighter from them for years. High quality and reasonably priced. No complaints whatsoever!
You should check out the new Palio Bastia cutter 80 gauge. Also the new Palio pro line lighters. Very affordable and nice look and feel.

Love it!! Need to get some stuff customized!!!!!!!!!!!

I currently live in Hawaii… so I can DEFINITELY relate to the issues to mentioned at beginning. Thanks for the great videos! 🚬
My best cutter and lighter are, oddly enough, Xikar
Interested in the Stinky ashtray.
Awesome!!

Xikar are shockingly bad these days

I use a Cuban Crafters Perfect Cutter and a Prometheus Magna T Triple Torch table lighter. Been using those for many years.
my favorites are still AJ Fernandez and Rocky Patel
So much hate for Rocky Patel. I don't understand it because they are one of my favs aswell
Garbage
Yeah, Canada!
Tim got a great idea. Secrets of Cigar Land Secrets.
Can you do a review of the Oscar Valladares 10th anniversary Solomon and Altar sumatra Toro? I can't find much on them .

Indiana just increased the excise tax to 24% on cigars in July.
Taxation is theft.
@scottarthurjr.1818 That's absolutely ridiculous. That's gonna hurt the mom and pop B&M's. Hopefully it doesn't impact online purchases.
Time to move
Canada does this on a daily basis
@OriginalOldSkoolFunk It already has. I bought a box from an online retailer and the tax was almost 19.00 . Sucks.
Love the V Cutter for all of my cigars, the straight cut will sometimes ruin a good cigar.
Do you know how to straight cut? I'd bet you've been doing it improperly.

My Xikar cutter is awesome and my favorite.
Xikar is garbage

That cigar caddy is junk. Nasty chemical foam that seeps into the cigars.

I think Tim is starting to sell out. Gurka cigars and now promoting xikar!! 2 absolutely awful brands with no care for customers just cash
