Really like how you're using the special features of this new keyboard. Great command of your instrument and great performance. It all sounds terrific.
Ralph Maten will surely watch your other video. I just started learning how to play and bought the X500 recently. Hope I'll be able to play like you some day.
Great performance Ralph, I can see me having one of these or a successor to it in the future, I currently own both the XW-G1 & P1. I tend to use the G1 more for some reason.
9 seconds of sampling is pretty paltry but the immediacy of that instrument is evident! Wow.. Looks way more fun than your average workstation. That's a serious instrument!
Nice! Thinking about buying this one or just a PX-560, wandering if i can use this keyboard to for just playing piano lol xD. But making whole music with samples looks much more appelling to me hearing this! Greatj job! I a own just a Yamaha P-70 right now lol, and have an old Novation KS5 wist I havn't used in ages. Looking for a good keyboard with has it all. This one sure looks to have it all :).
Casio has come on leaps and bounds.. Their digital pianos are incredible. Jacob Collier (one of the leading up and coming Jazz musicians) was blown away by their new hybrid piano. I was also a yamaha man, but have 4 casios now too!
Casio always had game-it's just that most people were too close-minded to really listen to what they had to offer. soundcloud.com/skyy38/escape-pod-final
It's still just a toy keyboard compared to a Tyros, but propably also in a completely other price range. Only thing that Yamaha could learn here, is it seems to have a waterfall keybed, wich a whole lot of the other accompaniment keyboards from many brands could learn from. :)
I personally wouldn't call it a toy keyboard. I also have a Tyros 5 which cost nearly 5 times the price of my Casio, but still doesn't have weighted keys. The Yamaha arranger beats the Casio hands down but nowhere near matches the feel of the Casio Piano, nor has the same number of keys!!
The force is strong in that one.

I've never been a big fan of Casio (I'm a Yamaha man) but that thing looks and sounds pretty badass. :)

Yep. I have to agree that Casio has most definitely stepped up their game as of late.
Casio always had game-it's just that most people were too close-minded to really listen to what they had to offer.

Please teach me how to use the sampling?
Jadam Pascual you’re welcome.

Hello Ralph Maten!
The casio Mz-x500 load samples of multisamples instruments ?
Thank you.
You can sample sounds/samples (up to 9 sec I think).
+Ralph Maten Then he sampled loops and effects to the pads and not multisamples instruments.OK? Thanks.
MZ-X500/300 has low cost and high quality...
