    Great performance Ralph, I can see me having one of these or a successor to it in the future, I currently own both the XW-G1 & P1. I tend to use the G1 more for some reason.

    9 seconds of sampling is pretty paltry but the immediacy of that instrument is evident! Wow.. Looks way more fun than your average workstation. That's a serious instrument!

    Nice! Thinking about buying this one or just a PX-560, wandering if i can use this keyboard to for just playing piano lol xD. But making whole music with samples looks much more appelling to me hearing this! Greatj job!
    I a own just a Yamaha P-70 right now lol, and have an old Novation KS5 wist I havn't used in ages. Looking for a good keyboard with has it all. This one sure looks to have it all :).

    I've never been a big fan of Casio (I'm a Yamaha man) but that thing looks and sounds pretty badass. :)

    • @apecamper
      @apecamper 8 лет назад

      Casio has come on leaps and bounds.. Their digital pianos are incredible. Jacob Collier (one of the leading up and coming Jazz musicians) was blown away by their new hybrid piano. I was also a yamaha man, but have 4 casios now too!

    • @christopher9000p
      @christopher9000p 8 лет назад

      Yep. I have to agree that Casio has most definitely stepped up their game as of late.

      Casio always had game-it's just that most people were too close-minded to really listen to what they had to offer.

      It's still just a toy keyboard compared to a Tyros, but propably also in a completely other price range.
      Only thing that Yamaha could learn here, is it seems to have a waterfall keybed, wich a whole lot of the other accompaniment keyboards from many brands could learn from. :)

    • @apecamper
      @apecamper 7 лет назад

      I personally wouldn't call it a toy keyboard. I also have a Tyros 5 which cost nearly 5 times the price of my Casio, but still doesn't have weighted keys. The Yamaha arranger beats the Casio hands down but nowhere near matches the feel of the Casio Piano, nor has the same number of keys!!

    Klingt sehr schön, hat viele Features (Pads z.B. wie beim Fantom S/X/G) und an sich ein sehr attraktives Instrument, welches, denke ich, im mittleren Preissegment liegen wird.
    Leider wird der Name Casio wieder mit Billig-Keyboards in Verbindung gebracht, das PX5 beispielsweise hat gezeigt, dass Casio alles andere als billig sein kann!

    • @RalphMaten
      @RalphMaten  9 лет назад

      Das ist aber nur in Deutschland so, wird ja international verkauft.

    • @YoshimusicLive
      @YoshimusicLive 9 лет назад +1

      Dem stimme ich zu, mein Besuch in einem Musikladen in Wien beispielsweise hat gezeigt, dass dort viel mehr Casio angeboten wird, als in Deutschland.
      Bei fast allen Läden in Deutschland (die ich kenne, also Lübeck, Kiel, Hamburg) hat man ne Riesen Yamaha-Ecke, dann ebenso fett KORG und Roland, vielleicht ein, zwei Kurzweil (immer noch mein Favorit), bisschen Clavia und ganz am Ende dann die untere Schublade von Casio, also die ganz billigen Einsteiger-Kisten.
      Die höherpreisigen Casio-Keys sind da deutlich besser, aber kaum vertreten.

      @RalphMaten  9 лет назад

      Selbst Jordan Rudes spielt auf nem Casio (Privia). Und der wird von Korg und vielen anderen endorst.

    Hello Ralph Maten!
    The casio Mz-x500 load samples of multisamples instruments ?
    Thank you.

    • @RalphMaten
      @RalphMaten  8 лет назад +2

      You can sample sounds/samples (up to 9 sec I think).

    •  8 лет назад

      +Ralph Maten Then he sampled loops and effects to the pads and not multisamples instruments.OK? Thanks.
