Good camouflage with your tarp, glad it was successful. It looked very secure. Nice views to wake up to from your spot.

Your setup was perfect nothing wrong with it at all so if anyone says anything don't worry they are probably keyboard warriors 😂😂 that valley you were thinking about camping it's very swampy mate I've not been up to that part of Harwood that you camped at I think
Thanks for the mention the British army bivvi is a perfect choice for a first time bivvy camp and that tarp looking cracking for the price good find that 👍👍 I always have my nose mouth and ears cover with a head over after waking up one day with a slug in my mouth not a nice feeling 😂😂 atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍

Hi Jimmy, thanks for that and the heads up about the swamp. i really enjoyed the bivy and tarp, i might get a larger 3 x 3 dd type as well. Thanks for watching 👍

If your set up works for you it works ....... pitch on dried pine needles itll put an end to your slug partys ...... get a 3x3 tarp with the central spine ill show you a few bashers i learnt many moons ago allthough we spent many a night in just the bivy bag takes some getting used too its suprising how much safer a micron thin tent makes people feel

Good tip about the pine needles, I think the empty beer cans might have attracted the slugs? Got my eye on the 3 x 3 dd tarp, it has loads of tie out points so your able to form lots of configurations. Thanks for watching 👍

Where's best to park overnight up there? I'm guessing simonside but not sure if there's anywhere else. Nice setup by the way, especially for a first try.
