Attention Segway, if you are actually reading these reviews you should loan this supervillain to r3. They have a fairly large base that's growing and they will give their honest opinion.. if you truly believe in your product then I'm sure their opinion will be positive to help you achieve Market share, hence first quarter sale goals... . Could be advantageous for everyone, just think about it!! It really does make good business sense once again only if you believe in your product. TikTok TikTok
I've been eyeing this since the first info commercial came out. And not one person ever states that it has tailgate unbelievable! . At least it looks like a tailgate , look at the two slots in back! Anyways have a villain so far so good I immediately tuned it because I belong to several Segway groups and I constantly hear many villains where the engine is seizing blowing rods. I do believe it is a mapping problem they come from the factory so freaking lean. This is known to be true. I wonder if this vehicle will have the same issue running too damn lean to meet EPA regulations?? Also, I hope they fix the extreme turbo lag this motor was known for from a test report given on RUclips.. in addition during full droop on a jump this. Same commentator stated the shocks would hyperextend and make a clunking noise...! Still interested in this vehicle however, I hope Segway spent some serious time on a research and development before releasing it to us guinea pigs! Not sure why it doesn't have electronic adjustment for the shocks? Hell, the CF Moto z10 has electronic three-way adjustable QS3 shocks on the fly why can't the villain? But like I said, still interested if it checks out I may buy a big brother to my villain. Personally my villain after I immediately tuned it place the exhaust and replace the horribly restrictive intake has been a very fun reliable naturally aspirated cheap side by side! Only issue I have is my fuel gauge sometimes goes to empty when I know I have more than half a tank left a fuel.. But whatever, life's tough get a helmet!
So the tires size, suspension travel, dash screen, shock size and rim size are measured in inches, but everything else is in metric units lol. That’s not confusing and stupid lol.
Tire size, rim size suspension travel have been universally standardized and recognized for over a hundred years now. If you need a metric conversion for the small European market, just go ahead and read the metric sizing written right on the sidewall or the shock itself. It will not tell you the real size of the tire or suspension travel when measured for adequate comparison between brands, though. Mechanics have been using metric fasteners and tooling for everything engine and transmission related, for awhile now.
Not kidding, I just got home with a new UT10 Crew from Big Pine Sports in Utah. I already have a 2023 Villain 72" and love it, but wanted more space for camping. I told them that I'd have to start saving for a Super Villain next and they said it'd be there in 2026. I thought... Hey havent I seen the Super rolling out of the factory already? So is it available in the US in 2025 or am I waiting till 2026? In any case I cant wait to test drive one if you bring it to Sand Hollow or something. I'll show up for sure! In fact, since my RUclips channel showing my adventures in the Villain has so many views you should just give me one to try out for a while. We're talking fives of views! Sometimes tens!
Hey brother, I'm glad you like your villain and UT-10. However, if you haven't, I strongly strongly urge you to get a tune preferably from calibration tune that sold through yeti's. I've seen a lot of these engines blowing rods and the common denominator that I found personally is that none of them were tuned. Other ones that keep running strong achieving higher miles without issues have had a tune installed. So that's my two cents... hope it works for you. I have a tune , intake and exhaust.. been super reliable, very fun, over all great vehicle for being naturally aspirated.!!! Just don't want to see you having engine problems because these engines run ridiculously lean to meet emissions I'm sure. Anyways good luck to you, take care!
@@howarddavis8748 My Villain has an early MSC tune which richened it up a lot. No tune on the UT10 Crew yet. I've heard good things about the Calibration tunes from the guy with the SxS Outcast channel. Definitely going to try it out. I live at 6,000 feet so I'm always hoping an ECU takes that into account. My little Lotus 7 kitcar does not and its always too rich if I go over the mountain heh. Need to fix that. As for the tune, I havent quite figured out the contact info on those Calibrated tunes. I know they sell an ECU flash tool if you want to do it that way. I may.
Wasn't this thing supposed to be a hybrid EV powertrain with an electric boost? Crazy to me manufacturers keep complicating the interior. These vehicles get dirty, they need to be easy to clean. The interior has so many split lines, cracks, crevasses, with no easy way to clean the interior.
Yes yes and yes, the trillion arms are low just like all the rest of them except for the KRX that come factory with high lift arched trailer norms. Glad to aftermarket take over on that one bro! Look at the Pro-R and a Can-Am's they all sit ridiculously low call a spade a spade!
I concur, that's exactly what my Segway sales rep told me.. seemingly great value.. the Chinese can create great vehicles at a lower price due to the lower labor market that they have. And learn a lot from the backs of pioneer's such as Can-Am and Polaris that have put millions of dollars into research and development from learning from scratch... Gosh, I hope that's not offensive lol But the truth shouldn't be.
On paper stock to stock, this S villain should walk the pro R not because of the 10 horsepower difference but because of literally twice the torque difference. If you add the torque and horsepower divided by the weight it seriously equals the same with the Maverick R you add its horsepower and torque divided by its weight is nearly identical. And we know how fast the Maverick are is....
Great machine looks awsome. Super bummed about the dct though. I'd rather change a belt than a transmission and also rather have high and low than 7 gears. That being said looks like a killer machine.
What makes you think it’s a DCT? Seems like just a 7 speed automatic transmission based on what I can tell. Likely much more reliable than a DCT or CVT.
We're ready whenever you are

Can't wait to see the mall cops rocking these.
Ultimate bud light carrying machine
Lots of cool gas engines still coming out, let’s goooo!!
I hope YAMAHA is watching.
A 2.0 litter 4 cylinder engine and turbo!!!!
What is the hybrid no longer on the website
When is this actually coming out? I feel like I’ve seen this car online for 2 years and still have never seen one in person.

How are they claiming "the only 7 speed automatic transmission "

Better do some more research on the 7speed transmission. Can you say Can Am
how much $$$ ??
You forgot to talk about the most important spec on an off road vehicle….. weight

Yes, yes and absolutely. It's a dirt buggy, make it easier to clean.
looks interesting but lets not lie about “boulder and rocks no problem with the ground clearance “that is touching the sand in multiple clips

I just want to know the starting price it. Hopefully it’s competitive and not outrageous
Probably 30k for the gas version, and 40k for the hybrid

Will be interesting to see this thing against a Pro R, which very clearly was a point of inspiration. Hopefully it has the stuff to keep up.

If you need honest opinions of your average Joe review, I’ll take one for a couple months and give you an honest feedback😂
1000s have more hp.
