Did you bring out the SDC to compare the signal with the 6000? Might want to wrap the edge of the coil on the 6000 with tape to keep dirt from getting inside the coil cover.
The SDC is a good second test. It won’t react the same as the 6000 so it’s a good way of testing if there is gold close to the area you are digging. The 6000 was a hire machine, so I wasn’t going to modify it.
@@goldfools5445 I upgraded from the SDC to the 6000 because it is quite a bit lighter and also has wireless headphones. I really like the machine and the 5x10 coil for working bedrock.
