어.. 그냥 보면서 생각해본 건데 12시는 뭔가 어제의 끝과 오늘의 시작이 공존하는 시각이니까 짧았던 행복이 끝나고 다시 외로운 나날들이 시작한다는 의미에서 12시가 되면 헤어지는 것 같아요. 실은 둘을 엮어주는 매개체인데 끈끈하게 엮어줄 것 같던 실이 꼬여버려서(3:05), 사랑을 놓아주게 되고. 모래시계가 깨진 것(3:12)은 더이상 둘의 시간은 흐르지 않는다는 것을 의미하며 나무에는 원래 새가 수십마리(3:30) 있었지만 결국 단 한마리만 남는데(그것도 가장 아래에 앉아있는 새ㅠㅜ), 혼자가 되었다는 것을 암시함과 동시에 떠난 이는 한명이지만 그만큼 자신의 많은 부분을 채웠다는 것을 의미하기도 하겠죠. 헤어지고 실이 타서 없어지는 것까지도 섬세해요.
뭐랄까, 이런 드로잉 느낌을 너무 좋아하는 데다가 회색 감성이랄까요? 여리지만 마냥 나 속상해, 아파요가 아니라 억누르고 감내하는 느낌이 들어서 마음이 아프고 몰입하게 돼요. 현상님이 가장 아끼시는 곡이라고 하셨는데 저도 그 이유를 알 것 같네요😢 좋은 곡과 그에 딱맞는 뮤비 내주셔서 너무 감사해요.✨

드럼소리 하나 안나는게 정말 좋았어요
항상 완벽히 잔잔했으면 하는 노래들도 뒤에가면 드럼소리가 들어가서 조금 미스였는데 이 노래는 끝에 바이올린이 오히려 나와서 더 먹먹한 감정을 만드는것 같네요 최고

This is the second song of him that i listened to after 3108. I really love how heartfelt he is when singing. It is so pure, sincere and beautiful. I cried hard listening to this one. It brings back memories, the feeling of missing someone, regret, loneliness, emptiness, the complexity of growing up, but as well giving me hug and warmth that i needed most in the middle of the night. It brings out all the feelings that stay in the very bottom of my heart. I hope you read this one day Hyunsang, this is how beautiful you make me feel.

I think this song resembles the passionate love between two people and the bitter end when their time runs out. Outlining strong feelings of regret and loneliness.
This song opens with slow, deep piano notes and a soft tone of voice. All throughout the song it gives a sense of longing 'I will never go back into your arms' he sings knowing their time is over and ' the regret left is not for you but me' displayed regretful emotions. The lyrical video which was released showed images like a broken hourglass, a clock with no hands and an empty tree and the line in chorus 'The time when we were us' that vividly portrayed the train of emotions and thoughts that were going through his head.
Another theme highlighted in this video was the cruelty of time and the importance of memories.'The summer that you embraced me, the autumn that we were abandoned is in front of me' and now the voice becomes louder and more passionate, he realizes that the bitter ending must not replace happiness completely. Instead of blaming someone else to make himself feel better he says it was his fault and remembers the memories and the time when he was happy. The first few lines - 'Saying that's an inevitable moment, the look you've been delighted to see me, the thing that was cruel to me by the moment' further proves these statements.
The feeling of not knowing what to do is also brought out during this song. A sense of being lost or having a missing puzzle piece. His voice becomes slower but still passionate as he sings 'can't stop thinking about when we were us'. The song in general slows down in this last third of the song and the piano turn to violins as the line goes 'this dream that I've awaken from is nothing but craven'
For a long time this was my go to song because it helped me calm down and just be able to sort through what was in front of me. My personal view is that this song gives a message, remember the good and leave no regrets. I especially loved how it showed the importance of relations and how we must cherish what we have now instead of having to look on it bitterly in the future because after all we only have one life and we should make the most of the storms we have in our lives.
