I had a cousin who aced all these tests a few years ago. He scored a 99.8ish%ile in XAT, somewhat similar in CAT, and good enough in Maharashtra CET to get an admit from JBIMS.
He also scored a 760 on the GMAT. He tells me that it's not entirely true when people say GMAT is easier than CAT. He tells me that GMAT adapts to become super tricky over a certain score (700 or 740, I don't remember exactly) and that he feels his accomplishments on the GMAT felt far more impressive to him as compared to CAT and XAT.
What are your thoughts on this? I'd really appreciate to get some of your erudite insights on this. Thanks.

While GMAT FE and CAT have different formats, it's true that the GMAT becomes more challenging as your score increases, especially around the 700+ range. Both tests require distinct strategies, and excelling in either is impressive.
