@@emmanuelibeh7752 Oh really? I am glad you got a form of connection from this video. Thanks for subscribing and ido hope that they will be other places you will see especially in Owerri.
This road is narrow, although it is one of the most difficult roads to construct. The terrain is challenging, especially the Egbu-Mbaise part, coupled with the insane building of houses and shops close to the road.
Grace I enjoyed your video. I actually watched both Owerri to Ahiara junction (Mbaise) and this second video. My assessment is that the government is trying. The road is a long one. They have been able to complete from Egbu to Azaraegbelu and towards Nguru in Mbaise. They are doing a lot of work in Obowo. The bridge you were commenting on, is the bridge across Imo river? I wasn't sure it was Imo river as I was watching it. Before I left Nigeria, I was into haulage. I travelled to Umuahia through that road when it was bad, I had to return to Owerri through Umuika junction (that's through Aba road). I like the fact that Imo state government is putting drainage on both sides. Hopefully next year the road will be ready. Once again kudos Grace.

@GraciousTales but that is federal road it suspose to be dualized from A to Z. Because of future popose, now Otti has flag off from Umuahia to onu imo for dualization
@GraciousTales I am from Anambra State, narrow roads is too much in Anambra State, that why our government is dualization from orlu and oga to agulu to Awka , agulu to nnobi to Nnewi, Nnewi to okija Owerri road, nkwere to agulueri otu to Anam, nkpor to nnobi to Nnewi, Orlu to ihiala, all this road are under construction in Anambra State now
Road construction is pretty slow in Nigeria in general, that is what l notice. They work as if they got eternity to complete a road.Other countries work with much speed on road construction.
The parts were there are no kerbs (divider)are rural sections, the urban sections have kerbs like Ahiara but the width of the road is the same.Uzodinma deserve commendation as even the federal govt would not have built this road in 8 years
@@udomaduka768 In fact, some parts of the road are already very wide but they chose to build drainage in the middle of the road thereby narrowing it! Now, any future governor will still work on widening this road hence Imo State will be stuck in a vicious circle doing one road work and little else. Given the planned demolition and rebuilding of Abia Tower, the Abia state government for its part may choose to build a wider 6+ lane road on the Abia side thereby making further widening of this road by Imo state inevitable.
Where is the flipping "dualization"? I can't see any, just a narrow road not fit to connect two states. Mr Uzodimma should just have simply continued with his lacklustre rule and left this road for a more serious leader instead of making a mess of it. The people living along that road ought to start preparing for a 6-8 lane road and more demolitions when a serious leader emerges in that area of Iboland.
You can not say what you don't know about. This is a total messed up on the road . Please don't go to this area you are talking about as a stranger before you encure God's wrath...

Yes, the terrain is quite challenging.

Sometimes you meet engineers on the ground and ask them those questions. Stop asking fans here who will end up talking nonsense.
Ok, maybe you can help me and do that. Thanks for your feedback.
