Jeje was rescued from the illegal wildlife trade by authorities in partnership with The Aspinall Foundation. Jeje was one of the youngest infants to arrive at JGI's Tchimpounga sanctuary in Republic of the Congo, so caregivers were extra careful tending to him. After Jeje recovered from the trauma he suffered, he was soon able to be integrated with other chimpanzees his age. Jeje is beloved by all of his friends and caregivers, and today he lives happily on Ngombe Island, one of the Tchimpounga sanctuary's three islands.

Story of hope? 😂😂Shoot it before it breeds !!! They don't like to tell people how chimps murder children in Uganda, and Kenya and other countries. There was a big news story just done a month ago on Channel ,4 Make no mistake, These are vile, disgusting creatures, they are extremely dangerous. I wouldn't have too much sympathy for these nasty animals. This thing as an adult would kill you in your sleep without a second thought. None of the other apes are this violent and evil.. Think twice they are spawns of Satan
