When i first started, i almost gave up because i didnt know what i was supposed to do, but then i started trying out a few things around the first camp and was able to craft a stick, then i mated and did two babies and i went to explore a bit. I happend to find a boar and a tiger, i managed to dodge the boar and somehow killed the tiger with the stick, but then i restarted the game quickly because one of my members had died. Then, i had to hit it again, but didnt kill it. When i went back to my camp, i realised that there was a female missing. I went back and found her dead laying on the ground... The game doesnt feel cluncky at all, even when i am used to playing in first person and this game is on 3rd person. I was able to dodge and attack at the right times, so i dont understand the reviews saying that it s cluncky. I play on PS4 and the game looks great, it isnt the most beautiful game, but it certainly looks really nice, specially in the mornings with the sun hitting the leaves. If you re on PS4, it s on discount and it s so worth it. It will take a long time to understand what s going on and what to do, but that s the fun of it. It really makes you feel and live what our ancestors might have lived, and it s something unique. If you like the concept, surely go ahead and try the game. For me, it s one of those games that you start like meh, but the more you play it and start discovering stuff, the more you want to play.
My greatest fear is that panache, just like SQUAD will become a take-2 zombie, nothing But a shadow of its former self. Forced to make DLC, after DLC, for all eternity.
This is one of the only games I am interested in how it was made.Can not wait for release.
