Great vid! I want to extract specific data from pdf and for that i am using anchor base. but the trouble is that it works for a couple pdf's and then it throws an activity timeout error. Any ideas!?

This video is very clear. However i have 3 issues:
i) When I changed the Read Mode to "Infer" I was unable to select the target
ii) The "Close Application" activity returned an error as it pointed to the specific file name. Any way to omit title for the "Close Application" activity?
iii) The anchor base shows the correct text when I'm creating, but when I run, it returns a different set of text.
Appreciate if you could help me Ma'am.

I had used all the shown hotkeys and 1st-time "Change reading options of the current document" is displayed and the start button was clicked.
Issue: Observed the popup is again coming and human intervention is needed in middle, i had tried so many hotkeys but nothing worked, Could you please help.

This is an expected behavior. After the anchor is set, the selector of the activity next to it will be limited to a partial selector in relation to the anchor.
Hello miss, can u please check the hot keys again as thay are not working in my case. I have followed u exactly but after enter is pressd the cursor just goes to end of the page and find element activity gets timeout.

Thanks for your classes on UIPath. Its really helpful and I really appreciate your effort in creating this video. Am using Foxit pdf it is not highlighting the individual after doing the "Infer reading the document" Is there any other way we can fix this? Are do I need to use only acrobat pdf reader?
Use OCR engine instead of infer reading
Mam, why is there a need to move the pdf to its actual size? Also I am not able to select specific data from pdf even after changing the reading mode, what should I do?

Send HotKey Activity will be useful here.
Press ctrl + k by using Send hot keys to open the Insert Hyperlink window
Again, make the use of Send HotKey Activity to provide necessary information under Insert Hyperlink window

Hi Good day to you, This is Richard, i am continuously watching your session, just need you expertise for some project that we need to provide with Event Viewer. Step1 Type in the Event Viewer on the search tab, press enter Step 2: Double click Windows logs and click Application. Step 3 is the critical part that i cannot figure out. Client wants me to only get the "Error" without using the Filter logs. they want me to get the data for all Error for "Date and time", "Source" , "Event ID" and the message in "General" automatically save it to Excel file. what function in UI path do i need to use? filtering the log for error will have more or less 2899 datas that need to be extracted. Appreciate your help.
Send hotkey (Ctrl + shift + 5) isn't working and directly jumped to enter, not showing the reading option after that it is showing activity timeout exceeded in find element
Could you please try again by adding a delay under Send Hotkey Activity?
For that, move to properties of all Send Hotkey Activity. Provide the value 10000 (i.e. 10 sec) under Common -> DelayAfter and DelayBefore
Still the same issue is there shortcut keys aren't working and in that time i have to porvide it manually then it is showing the result

@@nathanmora9734 First open pdf file, click on properties and check whether tagged pdf is "yes" or "no".... if it is no you have to use OCR engine for extracting data, it cannot be done using find element .... hope this answers you

Add Data Row: Cannot set column 'Name'. The value violates the MaxLength limit of this column....what sort of error is this ?
May I know what value you added in ArrayRow field? Have you checked account number and contact number extracted properly using message box?

I am facing a issue. so even after i select the "Infer reading order from document", it still highlights a block of text instead of the single word.
Can you tell me what can I do?
Lets say To move to "infer reading order from document", you typed ctrl+shift+5.
Could you please let me know which Reading order is selected by default if you again type ctrl+shift+5?

What to if the pdf folder names are different???
Store all folder names in Array of String variable and add For each activity to loop through that array. Do the entire project shown in the video under For Each Activity

Message: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Exception Type: System.NullReferenceException
Thank you so much. Please follow below steps to resolve the issue:
Move to Manage Packages -> Search UiPath.Excel.Activities -> Click on Update on the right side of Manage Package window to update the package.
If the issue is still not resolved, please add a defacult value as new System.Data.DataTable to the data table variable which you created in the read range activity.

I tried in both the ways by updating the package and adding "new System.Data.DataTable" to the data table variable of Read Range activity. But I am getting the same error. Is there any other way that i can resolve this issue.
