Can we print ordinary papers with this Machine? I have seen this machine prints papers with rolls (roll of paper) but I have never seen sheets of paper are printed. Can anyone help?
the only thing that would make this video perfect is slowed down speech -- couldn't quite swallow all that info in just under 3 minutes!
Thanks for the feedback lildreamerqueen!

I find this very interesting as I have experience working with a big silk screen to create credit cards, debit cards, etc... although my former company did not have a flexo dept. How would I go about learning how to operate this machine? School....? Or get lucky enough to be trained from ground zero at a future potential employer? We had a couple lithographs but they didn't hire anyone without experience... so that was a no go for me.
Hi Anthony! There are trade schools for flexographic but it's not unusual for printing companies to promote/train from within. Here are a couple flexographic trade schools to learn more: www.flexotradeservices.com/ and www.flexotraining.com/
Thank u so much

I will assume only do large print orders. Who does this for small print runs?
Hi Dom, you are correct - we use flexographic presses for large volume orders. We can use flexographic presses for smaller volumes but it's not as cost-effective. That's why we use digital presses for small volumes because it's a better value. You can learn more about digital printing in our video here: ruclips.net/video/1Ldrq6kO5go/видео.html
how much % cost effective as compared to rotogravure printing?

Do you outsource some of your labels? I think I've run a shitload of jobs for you guys. If I'm right thanks for the biz!
Hi Timothy Demers, we have outsourced in the past so it's possible we've worked together :) But we don't anymore since we've expanded our capabilities over the last couple years. Thanks!
Consolidated Label Co. wanted to make sure you saw my comment.
Can you print on cotton fabric by this process?
Hi Pradeep, this process is suited for paper and film label materials. Cotton fabric requires a different process like screen printing.
Man that press is tiny compared to the wide web 8 color press I work on! I wouldn't mind running one of these though.
Knox Crider How wide is wide web?
We run 30inch to 48 inch
Knox Crider We're always looking for experienced press operators :) bit.ly/1mfsFs5
I have work on 9 units web press but flex printing is much different than that! Different ink and super intense on quality ! I hope I can work on a shop like this !

Very Interesting. I am bringing traffic to this video from my blog I wrote about printing inks for the company I work for which is Gellner Industrial, LLC. At Gellner Industrial we make water based acrylic polymers for various industries, One for example being printing ink manufacturing companies. I'm introducing our blog readers to the various printing processes, products that are made using printing inks, and the polymers that we sell. Check our site out sometime.
