You are loved, you are precious in God's eyes. You are His Beloved. You belong on this Earth. If you are breathing now.... God has a purpose for your life now...... There is Hope and Love which can only be found in Jesus. God has a purpose for you now. He sees, knows and understands the pain from your past. God doesn't see your scars from your past, whether you made mistakes or decisions where made for you. What God sees is your Beauty. He sees you as fearfully and wonderfully made. He sees His Child made out of His own image. He sees you as His Beloved, apple of His eye. If you are contemplating suicide, then please comment back. You are important! God loves you and so do I. I understand the loss of a child. I lost my baby boy 8 years ago. I also understand how someone can get to that point of suicide. I am a survivor of suicide.
As far as losing my son, I know God didn't cause my son to die. I honestly wasn't angry at God but I was disappointed in Him. I wondered why He didn't heal my son and protect him. I honestly believe God sees the whole picture of our lives and we see a small portion. I can sit here and wonder why but I chose to believe God is good. I go back to the characteristics of who God is. He is a good good Father. He is a loving Father. Even though I don't agree with God all the time or understand, but I choose to believe He is good.
As far as suicide, we fight the devil everyday. The devil wants to keep God's children in an isolated/rejected state of mind. I was 19yrs old when I tried committing suicide. I was in an abusive relationship. I truly was bombarded with such deep dark thoughts that I felt the only way to get relief was to take my own life. The devil had me believing no one loved me. That the ground we walked on was more important than my life. The devil had me believing my life was a waste of breath.
Rejection and loneliness is extremely hard to overcome. I don't want you to blame yourself for your son's death. I don't know his situation but he felt that taking his own life was the only solution. I know it doesn't take the pain away. Losing a child especially that way is extremely hard and being angry is understandable. God doesn't mind you going to Him in all your anger and asking questions, but you need to get to a point of allowing Him to love on you and heal your heart emotionally. I know its painful but deeply needed.
We live in such a fallen world but this is not the time to give up. I know your son's tragedy is hard but ask God to use it to help other parents and those who are contemplating suicide to stop further suicides. This world needs God and we need to be that light to help others.
