What made first Bhool Bhulaiyaa so great was that there wasn't any real supernatural element. This movie is a slap to the name and concept of the original Manichitrathazu & it's remake Bhool Bhulaiyya 1.

When I saw this movie, I thought the same. Reeth actually loved Manjulika right, like she don't know Anjulika. Manjulika in disguise as Anjulika has treated everyone truly. When Manjulika came to know Reeth is not dead, she was genuinely happy and Reeth even hugged her proving she was a good bhabhi after all. It took only few minutes for Reeth to forget the bond she had with Manjulika😶
Actually Manju kept a dagger against Reet’s neck so her attitude changed I guess…..

The plot twist was the same as the movie, Alone (Bipasha Basu) and I would not be surprised if some older movies from the era of 'Madhumati' had the same ending..it was pretty predictable.
Literally only Tabu saved this movie and made it watchable. Also every time you say Kher I die laughing. 🤣
Kartik's bubble and expressive nature also helped to not make this unbearable. He doesn't get good plots otherwise he's a Brilliant actor with lots of potential. He's an outsider and he made it big time by himself is the testimony itself.
She is a good actors...but this role of hers was just cringe like the other actors as well
@@Sumirevins nah he's overrated af. Varun Dhawan jaisa overacting karta hai (1 2 films me acchi acting toh usne bhi Kari like badlapur). Wo toh SSR k death k baad audience se sympathy milna chalu ho gya outsider k naam pe isliye back to back films mil rahi.
SSR's death left a gap, which is adding to Kartik's advantage as an actor. I've seen people say he's the new SSR. Rajkumar Rao, Ayushman khurrana and that new actor...that kid who played the villain in Mardaani 2 are much better than him. Also Ranbir Kapoor my be a starkid but still gives hard competition to outsider actors in terms of acting.
Audience toh chutiya hai hi - pehle bade bade stars k naam pe film dekhne jate the ab outsiders k naam pe dekhne jate hai. Maa chudaye acting direction script.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa, the OG, is one of my favorite movie from bollywood having iconic dialogues and scenes with such a great concept that all this supernatural stuff can be an illness as well. A movie having some logic in a comedy genre is made once in a blue moon only.
Watching Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, till the climax, I was just waiting for the movie to have what the original one had. THE PLOT - AND THEY JUST KILLED IT!
Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed. The movie isn't bad, maybe a one time watch for me just for entertainment. But God, I agree, why did they name it Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2? Any other name could've worked tbh. Idk how this movie performed at the Indian box office while others are getting flunked.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa was a psychological thriller whereas this was a joke cum film (in the name of horror).
Bhool Bhulaiyaa had perfect comic timing, good acting and a good script.
Whereas kartik Aryaan's new film FREDDY is a good psychological thriller. Kartik Aryaan needs to choose script wisely.
