Another scene had him do "punch and kick", and of course the record-setting scene, but my favourite would probably have to be the villains who had the beds of spikes, and Ken merely pushes the dude onto one. It's seriously facepalm-worthy because of how obvious it was; dude could have just jumped on it himself.

The manga maybe brutal but those scoundrels get what they deserve. Hokuto No Ken manga wise is awesome but for anime, Toei company toned down because of its graphic violence.
