I love the "savings" justification. You guys sound like my wife. She wasn't going to buy anything but since it was on sale she "saved" a ton of money. I try that and it doesn't work for me. LOL!!! Love it!!! Keep on going guys!!
I'm curious how that helps. I've caught my 25-trout limit more times with a fast action rod than anything else. A fast action rod has the most sensitivity and is better suited for shallow water and/or working a lure on the bottom. Unless you're setting the hook on a trout like it's a Tuna and ripping the lure out, I don't see how a moderate action would benefit you.
I seriously enjoy my Insider membership and your videos. And clearly, I need to move from NE Florida to the west coast of Florida! Guys, please help me out and say why you are rod tip up or down whenever you are one or the other.
I bought the slam shady zman version and used twice so far... first time took about 10 casts and hooked 2 jacks, missed something that took the tail off and then went for sheepshead so i stopped using Secon time got 5 trout on the flats using them for roughly 2 hours area until we found them got hit every cast got 5 ordered the 2.0 today as they seem like pretty reliable lures
Slam Shady shining.......like diamonds. Love the on-the-fly unedited fishing videos. Keep up the great work!

A more moderate action rod has helped me land more trout. Nice chap stick tip!
