I can now say that it's a proud thing that i've been a part of this tremendous choreography of Akram Khan sir. And also, i feel blessed that i've performed with AKC team. It was the unforgettable journey of 30 days of my life. Thank you sir for being there for us and for your country. You are our pride.
I'm not familiar with dance and discover Akram on Netflix, of all places. I've watched this performance and cried. Thank you. I think my journey had just begun
After seeing this performance, I remembered that Akram Khan's work "ma" was my first view of contemporary dance in 2004. And I still see something "obsessed" and "possessed" in their stage. It's very touching. I'm very glad to see you on Netflix. Thanks for demanding the best all the time.
...And the Artist shall call us to internationalism. What a wonderful historical narrative of the struggles for nationhood by the people of Bangladesh. I am in awe and immensely thankful to Akram for his masterful storytelling..
Unexpected truth i used to follow the videos of Akram sir's channel, never believe or thought that i can be there also.. :') best 30 days journey ever.. !
I was speachless it gave goosebumps. Music was fantastic. Sir I influence with the music. Can I use only o Amar deshe mati part in my new production call Kaktarua- Scarecrow ( the truth behind farmers)? Please 🙏🙏🙏
I’m in awe of Akram’s work. This is one of the most powerful choreographies I have seen in a long time. Kudos to everyone involved. The sound and light design too. And I apologise on behalf of my country for what happened in 1971. Love to all my Bengali brothers
The girl on the left(at the beginning) should be the one holding that speech. I saw the episode of Move and she was just extraordinary mimicking the expressions and speaking.
I’ve just finished watching the doc and I couldn’t stop shedding tears. I cried my eyes out. The choreography was outstandingly strong with a huge msg. Amazed by it!
there’s something really special about this. I watched this first maybe about a year ago and came back to watch again and was so moved I teared up again. It’s hard to tell what it is, just the power of movement, and you can feel this force building up and come together and at the climax just absolutely hit me. Timeless art
SubhaanALLAH 🌿 What an amazing art work craeted by Akram Bhai 💚 Proud to be #Bengali🇧🇩 like Bangabandhu #SheikhMujiburRahman who is the founder of our Independence ( #Bangladesh🇧🇩) #AkramKhan is one of the best son of #Bangladesh🇧🇩 who is showing his motherland more beautifully in front of the world
daaaaammn as a bengali myself everything was soo so impactful literally i got goosebumps. They female singers voice was soo impactful. respect to all the people who worked on this piece
It felt so potent that with all that was going on around the world with Covid, that they danced this power, this reclaimation. Almost more power full to be witnessed by emptiness. Kia ora for your life force in the world Akram Khan. Mauri ora x
I've never been a big fan of "modern dance" but this is incredible ... moving ... beautiful ... everything! I'm going straight to a search for as much Akram as I can find. Thank you thank you for introduction me to this!!!
