Not need to be carefull, there is the North of Bogotá too, is 4 million people high and mid high class área, second and first world stats, you were in the center of the city that is hard even for locals, dont go there, go just to the north, any city in here got developed places where to stay, dont be where you dont feel confortable, saludes
