Thank you Adam you're a true blue hero mate.
The difference between Invincible and The Boys comic books is that one was made by people who like superheroes but wanted to improve the genre while the other was written by someone who hates superheroes and has told it openly and numerous times.
So one series needed to be accurate to it's source material while the other had to take the good ideas and build it's own story.
The boys is different because it's a political and social commentary, first snd foremost.
Man I can't wait to see Oliver make his appearance.
Glad to hear that they are still adapting the source material faithfully, because Invincible might be my favorite super-hero comic book of all time, next to Spider-Man imo. I loved Season 1 very much and i can't wait to watch Season 2 on friday.

I wonder how would they adapt the invincible war? It was a huge crossover event with the other heroes of the image comics universe.
It wasn’t a crossover event. It was a single issue (60). But it did feature a number of cameos from other image books.
I want to see the spawn and spiderman cameos so badly, it like NEEDS to happen at this point.

I hope the immortal gets more love, I felt like around this time in the comics he just kept getting shafted and jobbing just to prop up Mark
It seems like the immortal is stronger in the show than he is in the comics.
I can't wait for the first BIG divergence from the source material. I feel like eventually the sum of all the little changes made around the edges are going to necessitate (or just allow for) a huge curveball.
I would be happy with just a straightforward adaptation, but a mindblowing alteration would make me so happy.
I agree. I love the Invincible comics, but there are definitely a lot of aspects that I don’t think could or should stay the same in this adaptation. I’m really excited to see where it goes!

Just really wanna snow if conquest is in this season cause I know I saw hints to the events before his arrival but if story gets changed that would be disappointing
There’s a leaked image from episode 4 where Omni man is on planet thraxxa hugging mark. That means that the 4th episode will be Omni man and mark vs the viltrumite scouts. I doubt we’ll see conquest until season 3.

@@lilportalzoom1352dude we are way too far away from conquest for him to be in season 2 he’s definitely gonna be at the end of season 3 but season 2 will end with angstrom levy

@@lilportalzoom1352 yeah that’s definitely my favorite fight in the whole comic invincible vs conquest is an absolute masterpiece but I don’t want them rushing the story just to get there the end of season 3 is the perfect time to introduce conquest we still got some banger fights for season 2 tho we got invincible and Omni man vs the viltrumites on Thraxa as well as invincible vs angstrom levy those fights are gonna go hard

I’m not sure when they drop, I sure hope they don’t drop multiple episodes at once, I think that would relay the hype train a bit
@@KeyIssuespersonally 3 episodes at a time with maybe a 10th one being a hour and a half finale with hopefully conquest showing up would be nice. Kinda similar to Netflix’s arcane release’s

According to the leaked image from episode 4 mark and Omni man will reunite and get defeated by the viltrumite scouts. That’s definitely gonna be the best episode out of the 4. I wonder what the second half of season 2 will be about
I hate seeing Mark's college stuff tbh have almost no investment in Amber or his buddy because they feel like throwaway characters, especially with Eve being glaringly obvious as the eventual endgame romance partner for Mark. I am predicting Amber and Mark's mom will be killed off to give him character development I just don't know when.
I love Amazon giving quality content to quality content creators.

I hope it stays more faithful to the comics this time around cuz I hated how the deviated from the comics in s1 especially when they introduced principal Winslow and not have him give mark his superhero name that was a missed opportunity
I think you might have unrealistic expectations around something being considered faithful. The show is far more faithful than 99% of all animated or live action shows. You gotta rework some minor stuff here and there.

This show is great apart from its animation. The fights other than Omni man vs invincible are pretty stiff and bland. Love the story tho!

So far I've been bored watching s2. The end of episode 3 finally reintroduced someone important but everything up untill that has been horrible. I don't care about the new guardian reject squad and I def don't care about Marks shit relationship with his entitled and uninteresting girlfriend. It's been a waiting game for the good stuff and I'm not convinced it will be worth it but I'll withhold final judgment for now.
Lol tired of MCU crap but the show is being changed to be more MCUish than the comic.

@@josephbernardthesecond4974 the comic is a parody of marvel and DC capesht. Much of that is gone replaced instead by feminism and social justice. I had to fast-forward through half of episode 2. Season 1 was so good but season 2 is looking like trash
Debbie's whole thing about being a pet is real tired. And invincible is way less sure of himself. We all dislike this version of amber. It will be doing well then have an eye roll moment. Like the atlantean queens coming about ruling while the king was " playing " man gtfoh with that. I actually own the originals so I can see the changes immediately and they suck.
@@wolflordbradley7353 Thank you! Exactly how I feel. Especially about the stupid pet thing. The show writers are shooting themselves in foot with these changes. Debbie is basically madly in love with Nolan. That's why she's a wreck in the comics and forgives him basically instantly when he returns. This anger and pet crap is going to make it hard to make the forgiveness possible. Or they will make Nolan literally get on his knees amd beg.
Amber I don't even know wtf their plans are now. It seems they took Eve's activism and gave it to Amber. The only way I see Amber's character having redeeming moment then Eve and Mark together is to literally kill off Amber.
@@KeijiMaeda86 yes exactly. Plus we could’ve found out about Allen the alien instead of eves story. It wasn’t bad but there’s more they could’ve done, other characters to concentrate on.

She is just an animated character, she can't hurt you

I find it soo irritating that alot of time is being wasted on the character development of debbie. Very boring and insignificant character, im looking for the the action scenes not a depressed housewife working through the stages of grief. Utter BS that i have to skip a quarter of the episodes because of her!!
I only see 1 episode from season 2 not 4
