I know it's been 7 months since this, but Kizik has released a model called the Venice towards the end of 2023. Theseare just a straight up slip-on shoe (think Vans slip ons) with their heel technology. As someone that also has wide feet and heel arches, these are the most comfortable Kiziks that i have worn, and i beleive it comes down to the elastic bands that have been added to the Vencie model giving that high arch spot extra flexibility.
Loved the follow up commercial! Super funny! Only thing I would've changed is asking the chick sitting next to him not to smile the whole time. But I know thats going into it too deep. 😉😆 Lol
For me, the left foot works great. The right side does not pop up. But they are comfortable for walking. I have to be standing in order to put them on; will not pop up if I put them on while seated.
Great video Gary. I was looking for a pair of light shoes for the florida heat. While we're at it, what are your go-to gadgets and clothing to beat the heat in florida? Do you wear hats or spf shirts at the pool? Sunglasses? Do you have anything like fans or wearable coolers? Do you have any car gadgets you like? We have the same shoe size!! Glad I subbed to your second channel!
I think there are other brands that are hands free. I would recommend a style with a lower back than the ones I got since I on occasion have to pull at it.
@@melaniesbuchanan1759 Yes. Sketchers came up with their "Slip In" product line after Kizik started gaining traction. Fun fact, Kizik has licensed their heel technology to Nike for use in Athletic shoes.
My Grandma had the hands free Sketchers, but she can’t wear them anymore because her feet get swollen and don’t fit in the shoe. So if she has any issues with swelling then the sketchers are not ones I’d recommend. Not sure about these though. They do have a wide foot option, which may be okay for elderly people with this issue.
If you had just done a :30 second demonstration of actually *putting* the sneaker on - THAT would have been a good review. For me, too much chat when a demonstration would have been worth a 1000 words.

I am looking at the Kizik Blackout Roamers.

After taking them on vacation they are now my favorite shoe for everything.

Some great ideas.
how do these compare to the Skechers slip ins?
Haven't tried the Skechers but after a month I wear the Kizik almost every day.
Is kizit the only hands free shoe? My mom is 93 and I think she would like a shoe like this.

Doesn't Sketchers also have a pop in shoe?

It's kind of funny, the only person who doesn't know how to pronounce "Kizik" is the guy who is reviewing a pair of their shoes!
“Kitzik”, there’s no “t “.
