    Sometimes it is so worth it to revisit older videos :D Thank you so much for all the work that went into this and for making me laugh a lot :D (yes the owl, fight club and many other tidbits) Nothing to brighten up a dreary work day as a bit of board game humor that even transports rules as well!
    Have a great day or rather have plenty of them! .... and now off to Dawn of Madness - wonder how you will tickle some fun out of that :P

      Anyone who has taught or presented will know that humour will enhance learning and messaging, its a memory association thing, how do you recall lists of things? you associate them with humourous images or situations.

    This is an amazing series of vids! I found them immensely more helpful to learn the rules than either the rulebook or the official rules overview vids. One small suggestion I would make is to not be self-deprecating in the title, these videos are neither long nor rambling. As someone looking for "how the heck do I play this slightly frustrating game", already a bit exhausted, I skipped this video originally because it said it was a "long, rambling look" while it's actually a quite well structured "how to play" or "rules overview" and had to have someone else recommend it to me for me to dive in.

      Thanks for the feedback. I originally titled it How to Play, but got quite a bit of backlash. Lowering expectations with a more modest title seems to have solved the problem.

    I loved the ISS Vanguard videos, so I thought I'd give this series a try too. I don't have 7th Citadel, but a friend does, and this'll help me play.
    I like the fact that you put in some humor, but I might turn down the number of jokes a bit. They're best when used as occasional comic relief, rather than all the time.
    Anyway, love the content, keep it up!

    Your videos are just the best. Seriously! I guess it took you 1 full day to do those 3 videos (1 full day in the north pole I mean). But I will comment and like only the first video for one reason only. You were too lazy to show how combat works and it was the only reason I was watching those videos to start with. Shame on you! Other than that, well, SeriousPoulp should pay you to make these officials.... but shame on you!

    Yet you come to us players with revelations of rules.

    2:28 and 4:35 all the Action cards have a number in bottom left and all are of the form Axxx. How the hell am I supposed to distribute which cards to Brooks? You completely do not explain this.
    in 8:25 you seem to imply that the blue cards with a B letter in the top left are for Brenda. There are 6 variations (from top left icons): A, B, C, D, X and Continent or whatever that last one is called.
    And I was looking at the A-numbers in BOTTOM left - there are only A cards not B, C, or D. The A in bottom left probably stands for Action (action card)...

    • @adventuresincreativesoftwa6283
      @adventuresincreativesoftwa6283  6 месяцев назад

      Hi, sorry to hear you're having problems with the card ID's. As far as I can tell, you probably don't need to refer to the (tiny) codes in the bottom corner, when setting up (and playing) the game.
      To be clear, I'm just another backer - like you - trying to make sense of the game. I only had a PDF of the rulebook (not a copy of the game) when I made these videos, so - as you say - they're not very good. There's a much better official video, and I'll leave it to the pro's, in future.

      I totally agree! I want a short video that effectively accomplishes its purpose (teach me the game) this video is graphically very well done but the lame dad jokes are totally unnecessary, annoying and prolong the video unnecessarily. I'm literally starting to feel embarrassed anf crigne when I hear how lame it is.
