I am 53 years old and I have been a life long shooter mainly pistol and I rifles. Shotgun shooting was mainly hunting. But recently retired from law enforcement after 33 years. So I started shooting sporting clays. Always knew that I am right eye dominant and I am left handed. Never realized the issue with cross Dominance as I would close my right eye. But I am definitely determined to overcome the problem and stop closing my right eye!!! It's a hard habit to break and I am fighting it every time I shoot. I have patched, used chapstick and bought the beads you talked about, not going through that again!!! I will get it straight!! Have a good one and May God bless y'all!!!
I think your spot on Mr. Pace and I'll tell you why. I am cross eye dominant and with that said, every sport that involved me using some degree of precision, such as baseball, basketball, and golf, has never stopped me from achieving good results using my right hand in light of the fact that my left eye is dominant. As it relates to shooting, I think that so long as you don't look at the barrel and your mounting and gun fit are consistent then your eye dominance is irrelevant. Just look at the target and your brain should know what to do with the gun.
For of you that have this problem, this is the best video I have seen on this subject. I have this problem and this solution I have used for years. CONGRATS Roger. Excellent explanation and suggestion. BY
Finally someone who understands the problem. Roger you are the first person I have heard to suggest to do the test with the gun . It is the ultimate test in my opinion and by the way this is what I have been doing with every new shooter for sometime now.It simply is the very best way to make the determination. I suggest all one eyed shooters give it a try they might just surprise themselves not all but many will.
Just wanted to say thank you. I am RH LE dominant but never really checked with the gun. Thanks to your suggestion I checked with the gun and apparently years of shooting RH have conditioned my eyes to shoot RE dominant.
I have been saying a lot of what you just did for about a year now. But I was checking dominance with finger. I always tell people to focus on a stationary object and mount while still focusing on object. It not only helps with eye dominance, but also not to sight down barrel. Thank you Roger, very good, simplistic explanation.
The comment you make at 6:00 about testing eye dominance with the gun is key! I am right handed, left eyed, as soon as the gun is shouldered and I test it, my right eye is dominant. I thought I was going mad and EVERYONE said it isn’t possible to change when the gun is mounted. Thank you, Roger.
Thank you Roger, I really enjoy your videos. I shoot right eye only. With both eyes I see double. My coach says I will need to get some prescription shooting glases so I can can use both eyes. Take care and thank you for your time and efforts to share your knowledge and research with us, your viewing family. Rick Mansberger
After shooting by closing my left eye just before the shot for 55 years I challenged myself and switched to two eyes open left hand. It took a couple of years of shooting to be consistent and shoot 24 or 25 reliably. Interestingly if I shoot right hand now I can do it both eyes open. Even more interesting is when I shoot left my old muscle memory closes my left eye and I still hit the target (happens a lot). You instruction makes total sense! Thanks.
I’m right handed, left eyed - and it gives me fits. Started shooting left last year (I’m just an occasional shooter.). It helped, but never know which eye is going to activate from shot to shot. It’s as if they compete sometime. It’s fun, but I miss a lot.
Mark...there's a lot of things to say but the most important one is...look at the clay never the barrels trust your instinctive shooting and as long as your gun shoots where you look then after a while everything will fall into place...stay well and happy shooting!!!
Great video. Love your style of teaching. I formerly closed my left eye, but switched to stereoscopic vision last year. It’s better. I acquire targets much faster, especially crossers. Forget about which eye is dominant. Perform the shooting basics and your targeting computer will adapt. I recently added a Shotkam. My trend was low left on misses. Amazing self coaching tool.
Thanks Mate I shoot Trap for the first time the other day, and needless to say didn't have a clue. 7 clays down. So i come home and found your clips. I also found i was cross dominant right hand left eye and was horrified at the thought of shooting left handed. You clips and knowledge gave me hope and i will now put into practice you guidance. I also shared your links on our local SSAA website TY. Richard
Richard...as you know I'm cross dominant ...and you know my thoughts on that...7 clays down for a first effort is good going...stick with it ...stay well and good to hear from you.
Thank you sir. I'm about to start shooting shotgun this year. Never shot a gun before but I successfully passed the mandatory Canadian security in handling of firearms course. I found out in that course that I'm cross dominant left eye - right hand. I'm glad I've come across your video before starting shooting. I'll start learning the proper stance/mount etc from my left hand.
you have a new cross eye dominant subscriber. I have been an avid pistol shooter for a decade, and have recently fallen in love with shotgun shooting. I have spent so much time on the pistol because I can simply present in front of my left eye. so far, when shooting the clays, I will mount the gun, check the bead with my left eye closed, then focus downrange for the clay. like Nora, I have been keeping my left eye closed. I will be experimenting with other methods in coming weeks. so far, I have done alright with closing my left eye. I also use my bead quite a bit on everything but crossers. just my way after shooting pistols for so long. I thoroughly enjoy your videos, and I appreciate you sharing your experience.
Thank you for your insight! I'm Left hand/Right eye, and was ready to give up on trying out skeet shooting after borrowing a shotgun, and trying two days of contorting my head to the left, to get my good right eye down the rib and bead. I got 1/25 or whatever it is. I'll try your way of not aiming, and if that doesn't work, then try the harder option, and switch to the right hand!
thanks. i am cross eye dominant. i watch a lot of videos saying to change sides. but it is a lot of effort and feelings just to change that. i decided to just stick with being right handed and left eye dominant, because i realize i have to point my barrel and not aim, and it is true never look down at the barrel. shotgun is a very forgiving firearm. i do a lot of hunting, so it doesnt make any harm in my shooting then doing trap shooting.
very clear and useful presentation, best ive seen on youtube. im lefty and right eyed and what you say about trusting our brains to work it out is excellent. thank you.
Thank you for taking time to make this video, I like that. I'm a rifle shooter, new to shotguns and am cross dominate. Next time I go shooting, I'll take your advise and stare at the clay instead of the bead. I enjoy your videos, thanks again for making them. Robert
Thank you, as A younger shooter who is cross dominant, I appreciate you making this video. It was easy to understand and reinforced my belief that my brain did most of the work. I currently use patches to cover my left eye. So when I go out to shoot again to practice, I'll see the results of taking off the patches. Again I appreciate you making this video.
I’ve always seen out my left eye and I am right handed. Kinda stumbled across this on accident trying to understand the weird shit. It translates well to what I trying to get. Thank you
Very simple and next to free is a peice of clear cellophane Scotch tape on you shooting glasses. Enough to use two eyes and and have the brain use the eye that has no tape over it.
Many years since you've put up this video online, doesn't matter. I found it at the right moment. Just started clay shooting and 3 trainings down the line I watched a video finding I'm cross dominant. Thanks to your recommendations I know what to do. Thanks!
This video was a revelation for me. I've struggled with cross dominance for quite some time. I've taped my left lens and then took it off, only to put it back on again. But you're right. It only makes a difference if you're looking at beads and barrels and pointing at something. If you are truly looking and focusing only on the target, eye dominance should not matter. No one I know goes out pheasant hunting with taped glasses, but will put it on when trap shooting. What's the difference? None, that I see.
Thank you very much for your information! I am just starting in shotgun shooting and I have had tons of input from various folks. I am cross eye dominant and I've heard about the blinders, shooting left handed instead, bottom eject shotguns, left handed gun, right handed wont matter all very confusing. I appreciate your input, especially from someone who is also cross eyed dominant. please keep up the great work Sir, Best Regards!
Thank you I am cross eye dominant and this will help me and you have the best explanation of gun fit also I have subscribed to your channel look forward to watching more again thank you
Excellent help in shotgunning. thank you much. I’m right hand left eye. when I focus on the target they drop. When i aim i miss. thx for the reassurance
I just checked my eye using the gun as you suggested. with my finger I am left eye dominant and with the gun right eye. Thanks for the tip, I've been shooting for years closing my left eye.
Hi Roger, first let me say I love your series of videos . I have learned so much from them. The eye dominance thing has got me stumped. I am left eye dominant and right handed. I dedicated an entire year to shooting with two eyes and the best I could do was hit straightaways maybe 60%. Forget it on anything going right or left (left being worse than right crossing targets ) I completely agree in theory that it shouldn’t matter as long as we are hard focused on the target. What I don’t understand is that my sense of where the gun is relative to the target can change dramatically while the bird is in flight. My periphery can sense the gun is where it needs to be and in an instant it can shift to four feet behind the bird. Sometimes my periphery catches the left side of the barrel instead of the center in the rib. When I check my gun mount, I have to close the left eye to get the beads to line up . What might be going wrong for me Roger? I’ve been shooting with the opaque dot on my left lense and my scores improved significantly. Keep up the great videos, I learn so much more from you than anyone.
Jeff...you say..."sometimes my periphery catches the left side of the barrel"...if you can see that then I would suggest that you are not 100% focussed on the clay...make sure your gun shoots where you look (pattern board) and then just look at the clay and shoot ...if you see your barrels you are aiming and not pointing. Do not think...see clay...shoot clay...stay well and thanks for your kind comments.
I have always found your advice to be well placed. I am right handed and right eye dominant. I recently suffered a stroke that affected the vision in my right eye. My daughter is a physical therapist and she has ordered me to make whatever adjustments I have to make to continue shooting. She feels it is much too important a part of my lifestyle to easily give up, so I have begun my search for advice. First stop, Roger Pace. Thanks, your information is encouraging. I would like to continue shooting right handed and not have to convert to left handed shooting. I’m heading to the range soon, any further specific advice?
Wayne Jenkins...your comment has touched me deeply and my eyes are slightly teary as i type this...sorry about your stroke ...i am going to give this answer the best shot I am capable of...firstly your daughter is correct in saying you should not give up shooting...secondly do not change to left handed shooting...you said you were heading out to the range soon...when you do go to the range ...say to yourself ...my gun will shoot where i look...NOTHING HAS CHANGED...I CAN STILL SEE THE TARGET...call pull and shoot the target...yes ...it might be a bit harder at first...but it may not...the most important thing is to go out there and BELIEVE in your ability...it's all about confidence...see bird,,,shoot bird...please let me know how you go...God bless you both...stay well and from the bottom of my heart...HAPPY shooting !!!
I agree 100 percent that using two eyes is better than one. However this is something that I simply cannot do and have tried many times swapping to left handed and opening both eyes, both of which makes me shoot terrible. I am now in B grade and at the point where I constantly shoot 24 or 25 out of 25. I would also like to say that nora ross is also a one eye shooter and somone who I regard as an absolute champion. I think if what ever you are doing is working and you can consistently shoot well than there is no reason to change. At the end of the day we are all here for fun and to bust some clays. Happy shooting and thanks for the videos I have watched them all, keep them coming
I've never commented on youtube before but had to say thank you for this one. I'm left handed - right eyed, per the simple look at your finger trick. However, and as you so brilliantly mentioned, you should use your gun to determine eye dominance. Using my gun for the dominance proves that I'm left eyed dominant when shooting. There's a lot of people (and I was one of them) who put tape on their lenses and shouldn't be. VERY HELPFUL VIDEO!!!
I've very recently started shooting and found that I'm cross-dominate (left eye, right hand) and decided to learn to shoot left handed. I figured that seeing as I have to learn it all anyway I may as well learn the way that allows me to keep both eyes open. Your videos are very good, thanks!
Great video u put in a lot of effort in making ur charts they look good. I used to shoot with one eye closed but after a lot of practice I now shoot with both my eyes open. My scores have improved a lot. I am able to see the clay better with one eye closed i sometimes used to loose sight of the clay and panic.
hey ,, you really did just i was puzzling and been frustrated about for years.... i cant wait to go to the range do what just told me.... thanks million
Thank you Roger, you've put a lot of work into this and it's massively appreciated. I've not long started out, just bought my first shotgun and my coach's advise exactly mirrors yours (I'm right handed, left-eye dominant)- eyes open, look at the clay, ignore the gun. if you've got your mount and your lead right it'll break. Stop shooting a shotgun as if it were a rifle (One eye closed, staring at the bead/clay). Looking forward to watching more of your videos, thank you for contributing your knowledge to the community.
I am Right Handed, left eye dominate and shoot with the gun on the LEFT side, left hand on trigger and right hand on fore stock, up there in age and always shot that way with a rifle and shotgun, very accurate, If I switch sides just for fun to see how it feels, hold on my right shoulder, not only Is it awkward I feel so stupid, but I shoot a pistol with my right hand, very accurate, but since I was a kid with my first BB gun and cap pistol, always shot that way. WORKS FOR ME, I always close my right eye so I will be on target
enjoyed the video. very thorough and very helpful. If you have any other videos, which I'll find out shortly after typing this, I'll be sure to watch them as this has helped me a whole lot. thank you!
Well, you've put my mind at rest, I'm a leftie right eye dominant. I've always squinted or closed my right eye. From now on I'll just look at the target. I sent it amazing that our subconcience can work it out better than the conscious self! I guess it's like the tennis players and golfers say, we have to "get out of our own way" in order to learn. Thanks Roger, great video, see you later.
I am cross dominate, didn't realise it until yesterday when I tried shooting at clays for the first time. Some good info in this video, I'll go back later this week and have another crack at it.
On targets moving right,my left eye tends to follow them quicker than the right. Makes me miss... But that is probably, because I have too much focus in the beed, not the clay. So it is off to the range for me, and practice, practice, practice. I won't make 4000 shots this week, though...
Absolutely incredible. Your amazing and your doing a great job at informing all of us!! I now completely understand about eye dominance and it has helped me so much for when I next shoot. You deserve many more subscribers than this because u are so great!!!!! Keep up the good work pal
Thank you for your excellent videos. Well spoken and to the point. I used to shoot for about 6 years at a yearly competition but stopped after team captain moved away and other guys quit. I am retiring soon and looking to get back into shooting. I shoot right handed but am left eye dominant and have problems with double vision. I keep both eyes open on skeet and close left eye after acquiring bird and only keep right eye open on trap. Seem to be better at trap but do good (17-20) at skeet. Biggest issue is with crossing birds especially on doubles. Have tried sporting clays and 5 stand some but shot very poorly (5-10). I even tried an attachment close to bead that blocked bead from my left eye and this helps but still can’t keep both eyes open. I am going to try some of your suggestions (I tried shooting left handed but hated it). I thoroughly enjoy your videos, tips and information. Keep up the videos. They are truly helpful
Keith ...I'm retired and enjoying it greatly ...as you will when you retire...17/20 at skeet is a very respectable average...I only shoot DTL ...thanks for getting in touch and happy retirement and happy shooting!
Been giving this a lot of thought lately. I am starting to believe it is just like driving a car. You dont really think about it, your brain and sub-concience do it all for you. This is how I am going to shoot from now on. I have always tried to aim the shotgun at the target, rather than letting my hand-eye co-ordination take over. Thanks for the vid, great info.
Thank you for the tip to use the gun whilst testing eye dominance. Using the finger method I thought I was cross dominant, but, with the gun method I'm not.
I'm left handed when holding a gun but right eye dominant. Im watching every video here on youtube to figure out what to do and what are my options? I like your video it helps. I don't think I will buy anything to block my one eye, I'm leaning towards learning to shoot right handed.
Find which side you are most comfortable with...it's always preferable to shoot on the side of your dominant eye...but in the end we shoot with both eyes open and we focus on the clay not the gun barrels...thanks and stay well!!!
Discovered last night that I am cross dominant. I'm a right handed shooter. I've been shooting since I was a child. I have always shot my shotgun with my left eye open but have recently begun to miss birds coming straight on and high, or quartering away from me and crossing. Your video made a lot of sense but here's my dilemma. If I close my left eye, my right eye takes over just fine. As soon as I open my left eye the barrel "jumps" and my left eye wants control. I'm trying to learn how to shoot with both eyes open but my sight picture is all messed up. Should I switch sides?
Hi Roger I am in the UK I enjoy your videos, I have become left eye dominant and a right handed shooter I have tried every thing on the market and as my eye is very dominant nothing has worked so retraining my brain but one thing I would say it has had me over thinking everything which I believe is worse than eye dominant, keep posting videos they are great
Roger, thank you for the great video on eye dominance. I have been shooting for 3 years and improving consistently. I shot sporting clays this summer and my scores were going up. Then I moved to 5 stand and did horribly. A shooting coach noticed I was left eye dominant even though I shoot right handed. I am not sure that is my problem after watching your video. I think 5 stand exposes other problems (how I stand, peripheral vision etc.) more so that skeet, trap or sporting clays. I am going to work on the other items first before I make a major shift to shooting left handed. I tried a couple of rounds left handed and it did not feel natural. Thank you again for your well narrated and clear video.
Joe ...good comment...work on other things and forget eye dominance ...we never look at the gun ...we look at the clay...and as long as our gun shoots where we look ...then all is well...good on you!
Thank you Roger. Found your videos excellent 👍 Especially the 'gun fit' one. I am just waiting for my license to arrive in the post and then will be looking at purchasing my first shotgun. I feel a bit more confident now. All the best.
thanks for this explanation, I have just started taking lessons and thoroughly enjoying it, so much that im looking at getting my own gun, leaning towards the Browning 525
This video was very helpful as I’m cross dominant and have only been shooting clays for 2 months . I hope I improve as my left eye is dominant but right handed someone suggested I shoot left handed but that would take some getting used to and allot of practice !
K Wood...I am also cross dominant...remember...we never look at the gun we only look at the clay...as long as our gun is set up to shoot where we look then all is O K...good luck and happy shooting !!!
Hey, thanks...Joe are you from Italy or Malta?...I believe there are lots of Paces from Malta...What a great name hey!!! Stay well...and thanks for watching!!! I am from Italy...
🤔 first I think I realized I’m right handed, left eye dominant. For 16 years I have sucked at shooting. But from watching this video I think I am left eye dominant 😒. But I guess that does not matter now as I’m used to shooting on the right side and as i think of how I throw a ball, shoot a basket, aim for the arrow on the floor bowling, I don’t close my eyes! And to check eye dominance, I verify it by opening both eyes! Haha why take the extra step in closing a eye when having both eyes open is my eye dominance verification. And I always lose sight of the bird when I close one eye and lead. This might be a game changer! I’m excited to try it
I'm left eye dom and right handed shooter....good info, thank you, I layed off shooting for a year and recently returned - thought about changing to left hand shooting and decided I'm too old to change....still not clear from your video whether you are saying shoot with both eyes open or one....I think the flip chart was very helpful, but to improve presentation, pro's often say, tell people what your gonna tell them, tell them, and then tell them again what you told 'em.....so are you saying shoot with both eyes open and the key is do not look down the barrel? Great job and thank you...both me and wife are trap shooters and enjoy sport!
thank you unc roger. ima lefty with left dominant but like to shoot guns with right hand. always felt a bit odd with closed eye. shooting a bit right than used to. still new to this tho
Thanks for your video. I learned that I am left eye but right handed. I watched a number of other videos first and was thinking to my self. Why don't I just look at the other barrel (you see double when looking at the target) I was wondering why no one had said anything about that. I am going to shoot some clay pidgeons next week and will try to keep both eyes open. I'm sure I can train my brain to focus on the correct one. Thanks for your video
Ohhhh! This was super helpful! I just finished hunter ed here in Michigan, and I found out I am cross eye dominant. Every time I do the test with my hands and close my right eye I lose the target. But after you said to try it with a gun, I took out my new shotgun and aimed at a target with both eyes open then closed my left eye and I was directly on target every time! I was actually worried that I would have to switch shooting sides/hands. I was an Airborne Ranger in the US Army and I did have a difficult time in the beginning when shooting my M4 Carbine. So my guess is that I eventually trained my right eye to become dominant when I draw up a gun for shooting. I was wondering why they never talked about cross eyes dominance when I was in the service but it was probably because they knew that your domininant eye would eventually take over and probably thought it best not to ask soldiers to switch sides. Thanks for your video I really appreciate it!
I hope this helps. Right hand/ left eye dominant. When shooting trap, it's easier to keep right eye on target. When shooting skeet or having to move the gun, my left eye always takes over.
andy...I'm also right handed/left eye dominant when I do the hand test...but when I shoulder the gun and point at an object my right eye takes over...stay well...Roger

Lucas...good on you!!!
I’ve always seen out my left eye and I am right handed. Kinda stumbled across this on accident trying to understand the weird shit. It translates well to what I trying to get. Thank you
You are very welcome !!!
I close one eye and it works great for me. Been doing it for 30 years.
Michael...absolutely agree...Nora Ross ...great american champion shoots the same way...stay well my friend!
Thanks!
Good on you and thanks for watching !!!
None, that I see.
popoaggie...agree 100%...I saw one of the songs that you have on your videos and it was great!
Good on you and thanks!!!
Best video on left eye dominance ever
CT M Thank you......much appreciated...stay well and happy shooting !!!
Thank you I am cross eye dominant and this will help me and you have the best explanation of gun fit also I have subscribed to your channel look forward to watching more again thank you
david...thank you...much appreciated!!!
Excellent help in shotgunning. thank you much. I’m right hand left eye. when I focus on the target they drop. When i aim i miss. thx for the reassurance
Good on you and happy shooting!!!
I just checked my eye using the gun as you suggested. with my finger I am left eye dominant and with the gun right eye. Thanks for the tip, I've been shooting for years closing my left eye.
Good on you...stay well and happy shooting!
Hi Roger, first let me say I love your series of videos . I have learned so much from them. The eye dominance thing has got me stumped. I am left eye dominant and right handed. I dedicated an entire year to shooting with two eyes and the best I could do was hit straightaways maybe 60%. Forget it on anything going right or left (left being worse than right crossing targets )
I completely agree in theory that it shouldn’t matter as long as we are hard focused on the target.
Very good, and helpful.
I'm new at the clays game and I find your videos very helpful ! Thanks
Nice one Roger appreciate your advice. Thankyou.
carl...you're very welcome ...stay well!
Patrick...you are spot on...good on you and well said!!!
Good on you Russ and thanks!
This was so well done! I love your style and I have subscribed!
Thank you, you are very kind...much appreciated...stay well and happy shooting !!!
That's a good point about dropping their bad habits.
mica H...good on you and stay well!
I've very recently started shooting and found that I'm cross-dominate (left eye, right hand) and decided to learn to shoot left handed. I figured that seeing as I have to learn it all anyway I may as well learn the way that allows me to keep both eyes open. Your videos are very good, thanks!
Debbie...that's the correct decision...and good on you ...we need more women out there ...stay well...Roger
Thanks for the video. I like your approach. No BS, just good simple solutions.
BillnWa...thank you...much appreciated...stay well!
Great video u put in a lot of effort in making ur charts they look good. I used to shoot with one eye closed but after a lot of practice I now shoot with both my eyes open. My scores have improved a lot. I am able to see the clay better with one eye closed i sometimes used to loose sight of the clay and panic.
Percival...good on you!!!...and thanks
hey ,, you really did just i was puzzling and been frustrated about for years.... i cant wait to go to the range do what just told me.... thanks million
Good on you Sean...stay well!!!
I'm cross eyed!
That was very helpful!
Thank you so much
Paulo...and thank you for your kind comments...stay well
Awesome insights, Thanks Mr. Pace
You are very welcome and thank you!
Very informative and helpful video Thanks this helped me out a lot with my shooting😀
ETHAN ...glad it helped...thank you and stay well!
Dan...that is 100% correct...thank you for your comments ...it's good to get feedback on the videos...stay well...Roger
Jimmy ...and a lot of good shooters do the same...much appreciated...stay well and happy shooting !!!
Wow most helpful review this, thought I was going boss eyed, thanks Roger.
Glad you liked it Dave. Thank you and stay well!!!
enjoyed the video. very thorough and very helpful. If you have any other videos, which I'll find out shortly after typing this, I'll be sure to watch them as this has helped me a whole lot. thank you!
Edwin...yes ..there are other videos...good on you and stay well!
Paul...you've put it very well...and I am glad the video was useful...stay well
I am cross dominate, didn't realise it until yesterday when I tried shooting at clays for the first time.
Nicolaus... good on you...always focus on the clay and not the bead.
Excellent advice. Thank you very much.
You are very welcome!!!
Absolutely incredible. Your amazing and your doing a great job at informing all of us!! I now completely understand about eye dominance and it has helped me so much for when I next shoot. You deserve many more subscribers than this because u are so great!!!!! Keep up the good work pal
Lewis...you are very kind...much appreciated...and glad to help
Roger Pace no problem. You are excellent
I am now a new subscriber after watching this video. I am cross eye dominant (left eye, right handed).
I'm the same and I still manage to shoot decent scores...thanks for subscribing...stay well...Roger
Thank you so much Roger. I will certainly try this.
You're very welcome!
Thanks Roger . A really good presentation. Very helpful.
jamie...thank you and stay well!
Toys top secret...you are absolutely spot on!...good luck and happy shooting.
Another great informative video thanks for what you do !
Thank you...glad it was useful...stay well
Thank you for the tip to use the gun whilst testing eye dominance. Using the finger method I thought I was cross dominant, but, with the gun method I'm not.
Good on you and thanks!!!
Hello Mr Roger,
I real like yours vídeos!!
Appreciated!!
You are very welcome...thank you !!!
great video... (love the Power Point 1.0)
Thanks! Glad you liked it...stay well !!!
Your video has helped me so much. I watch your video before Duck hunting each morning. Really helps me get focused.
Good on you and thanks!
Spot on, keep them open. You wouldn't close an eye playing tennis etc.
Should I switch sides?
have started shooting this year, cross dominant and have been holding to your advice. On a good day i hit 14.
Scores will get higher...it takes time...but eventually everything will come together...stay well and happy shooting!!!
Hi Roger I am in the UK I enjoy your videos, I have become left eye dominant and a right handed shooter I have tried every thing on the market and as my eye is very dominant nothing has worked so retraining my brain but one thing I would say it has had me over thinking everything which I believe is worse than eye dominant, keep posting videos they are great
Yes when we overthink everything that's when we miss. No thinking ..."see bird...shoot bird" !!! Good on you and happy shooting !!!
Thank you for a no nonsense video.
My pleasure and you are very welcome!
Thank you very well, you are very good at learning us Christos from Greece
Thank you ...you are very welcome...poli cala!!!
Craig... and best wishes to you too...stay well!
thanks for this explanation, I have just started taking lessons and thoroughly enjoying it, so much that im looking at getting my own gun, leaning towards the Browning 525
Browning is good ...remember...mid bead... adjustable stock...length of pull and you're good to go!!!
@@rogerpace9322 thank you I love your videos .
Hi from one pace to another great videos
Hey, thanks...Joe are you from Italy or Malta?...I believe there are lots of Paces from Malta...What a great name hey!!! Stay well...and thanks for watching!!! I am from Italy...
@@rogerpace9322 Hi mate just found this in my junk mail, i was born in australia but my parents are from Malta take care talk soon
I’m excited to try it
And i hope it all goes well for you...look forward to hearing from you!!!
I've been shooting for over 40 years and have always closed one eye works great for me!!!!!!
Curt...and many people would agree with you
Thank you Roger, I found your video very helpful.
Thank you!!!
Thank you from a fellow cross dominant shooter.
Grayson...glad it was useful...as long as our gun shoots where we look it's no big deal...stay well...Roger
Thanks . . I’m left-handed & left dominant
Thankyou makes a lot of sense...
thnk you roger simply elegant
Shaun...you are very welcome...thank you and stay well!!!
Thank you roger, very well presentation, i learned a lot.❤
Glad to help. Stay well, happy shooting and thank you for watching !!
Steven...you got it...yes...both eyes open ...look at the clay and never the barrels...happy shooting!
thank you unc roger. ima lefty with left dominant but like to shoot guns with right hand. always felt a bit odd with closed eye. shooting a bit right than used to. still new to this tho
Mounting and keeping the gun on cheek ,follow the clay will give it a try next week....
Janet...best of luck!!!
Chase...that's right...look at the clay ...and shoot...we never look at the barrels...good luck next week!
I'm left handed but knew from the begining that I had a right dominant eye so I've trained myself to shoot right handed from the begining
Great Video. My first time seeing you. Great job!
This has been a great help..
Thanks for these videos hav a learned a lot from them....nd I also try nd follow them....SEE BIRD, SHOOT BIRD(my fav)
devbanna...my pleasure...stay well!
Bradley...good on you!!!
