@@lanedelong3355 Tbh you already had that experience since you're a Tau player now. Still waiting on the Guard codex. Don't want to put any work into them in case gdub makes any radical changes.
Using LR like this is really smart, and cab be really powerful. However if the GK manage to surround it with interceptors and nemesis dreadknight and then destroy it, you will have to make emergency disembarking test, which can be a huge blow to you.
im going to try and run a landraider crusader with 3x centurian assault squad and the captain w/company heroes and lieutenant and a mephiston. then run a judicar w bladeguard in an impulsor. I figured the centurions as a transport popper for the captain once they are out. The crusader also has that 12" move so im pairing it with a Baal. :D
This sounds like fun. The assault cents are cool and will be fun to try but I just feel like aggressors do better in that role because you can fit more of them into the transport, but I’d love to hear how they perform. And I am definitely putting the company heroes into future lists. They’re great in LAG
@@lanedelong3355 I decided to make a LAG but with tougher units so they can survive after charging or sit and hold if needed, so swapped the assault intercessors with the heroes, kept the bladeguard vets, added in the centurions and some normal terminators deepstriking. I want to see if the +1atk with sus2 for the centurions can do some carnage!

Honestly, it just feels good to play with a codex with good rules. I paid my dues playing an underpowered codex, I deserve this as a little treat.

I wasn’t too worried about GK swarming the LR but against an army like World Eaters this would be a definite concern.

Definitely too much herohammer, but sounds fun and the LR plan is decent
Characters are just so much fun in LAG. It’s hard not to put a bunch of them in every list.
