You are one of the few people who have given me certain motivation to keep going in my life, I am a second year pharmacy student and I cannot stress enough for how long I had put my passion and interest for dolls aside(around the last year of high school), and now here I am after approximately three years and I have found my love for dolls again, not that I lost it but I was forcing myself to ignore it. Tricking my brain into thinking dolls cannot be a part of my life anymore as I have more ‘important things ‘ to do. Deep down inside I knew dolls have always been a part of me and always will be. I am now here, surviving university and still making time for myself and my dolls. You got me into rainbow high and I thank you for that bc now I can go in stores and buy dolls, feels like the good old days when I used to do that with monster high and barbie. Seeing you complete your masters degree really just gives some hope that I literally can have time for dolls, the things I want to do and still somewhat succeed in my studies. I know there is good waiting for me after this long journey of school and most of it all thanks to you. I wish you all the best with your new job/s, career and life and just know how much your content means to your audience. Thank you for being a wonderful role model.

Great clip. Loved it. I like seeing how other people organise their dolls.
Thoughts on your lighting situation and the colour being white in one room and reddish in the other, sounds like you have a cool white globe in the white room and a warm white in the other.
This definitely makes a big difference as I discovered this problem myself just recently. Cool white is much brighter.

It’s definitely the lighting. Which I LOATHE because I always have a bad time trying to fix it…. But we have electricians coming for something else so I’m hoping they will have advice… I want to do those tracks of lamps on the ceiling maybe?

I was thinking about the blue room color issue today. I think something that may help is changing out the light bulbs for a cool tone white and not a warm tone. I am guessing this is one reason you look "red". I am so excited to see your rooms come together. I hope you can find more of the ikea shelves you are looking for. I am guessing you need quiet a few. Make sure to check facebook market place. You never know what you will find there. I like the idea of putting posters on the ceiling, and the cardboard pieces on the sliding doors. I think you can manage to take those shelving units out but make sure you do it BEFORE getting all your stuff set up because I bet the dust will be not great. I am excited to watch your house become a home.

Like the color you choose. I only wonder if it is light or just me I think the warm wood color of the windows frames and floor/doors clashes a bit with with it. OR it does crazy contrast on your skin, The bottom of the room reflects redish and the walls reflects cool so it makes the light strange. I don't know if I am explaining it but yes the colors clash when reflected on objects and people... I think if you can paint or just put some sort of furniture deco tape on the windows frames that is white and/ or white rug it will fix the light. Over all your new home is very Cozy! I am so happy for you!

You definately got busy! Looks good so far. I hope you find more shelves you want sooner than later. I hope Ikea gets stock soon. The walls look good. You could change the bulbs to natural light bulbs that may help the coloring you were pointing out in the room. Just a thought.

also, have you heard about Mimi Doll from Korea? They visually look similar to Licca, but maybe slightly taller. I wonder if you'd be interested on getting them, they look pretty neat (based on what I saw on the photos) but never know whether the actual dolls are as good looking as in the photos. There's a few that's in Korean traditional clothing and they look nice.

Also, painting ceilings is easy, but if you don't wanna, meh posters are good.
If you hate the fixtures you can bring in the covers of the lightbulbs on the ceiling fan and use the hole as an example to get new covers instead.
Changing a fan out is also pretty easy, but just changing those glass covers may help

Yeah ceiling painting is pretty easy. But it is physically taxing holding the rollers and looking up.

You own your house now. You can buy some L brackets and hang some shelves instead too!! Put holes in them walls! Lol.
I so like shelving units, but hanging shelves is also really handy and you can have them perfectly spaced.
Also, I don't have a bathroom door, curtains and a slidey fold up door work well for guests.

I would prefer not to tear the house apart especially with possible lead paint and brittle walls.. and I own the house so any screw-ups would mess with the value in the future which DIRECTLY falls on me. I like the glass and metal shelves so I’m going with those. If I wanted the built in look I would do it

shortage on everything everywhere.suggestion,brooke lumber,hammer,saw and nails you could build your own shelving.i have seen display cases and shelving on FB marketplace recently.i would check thrift second hand places for shelving.
