WOW 😯 I CANT BELIEVE IM WATCHING A VIDEO 📸😅 THATS 9YRS OLD!!!! ??? AND THE ROUTER FENCE AN EVERYTHING ELSE IS STILL USABLE TODAY AS IT WAS 9 YRS AGO!! SIMPLY TIMELESS THANK YOU ❤️😊 AN HAVE 2 COLD ONES YOU DESERVED IT
Plans were just posted. They come in sets (the larger sliding table with the lift and fence in one set; the smaller table with lift and fence in another; the lift alone; or the fence alone.) I think if you just want the lift plans it's 5 bucks. Every little bit helps pay the show's expenses... so thanks!
i was so with you until I saw the particle board I still have one of those incra jigs. It is wonderful to see how you have grown your content and channel, though this one is prob my fav. Thanks for always great info
Great finish to the router table build! I built a new top for my router table a few weeks ago, the old one was losing lamination, funny to watch a board swim along the wavy top. Ended up using left over melamine, and edged with maple, works well, but same old fence. I have just completed a dust separator (that round one with the funny gap) and modification to my small TS guard to accept a vacuum hose, am looking forward to more ideas for Dust Collection! Basement shop = dust problems.
Yours is also a good Idea, but unless you can find a good deal on it used (like you suggested) the Incra basic jig costs about $60 plus s/h. My designs are usually intended to be as affordable as possible for people to make themselves, using the easiest to find materials. I went with the $18 one for that reason, and because it gives the fence a good capacity without making the fence stick off the back of the table too far, which many complain about when using the larger Incra jigs.
Sure... but still a whole lot cheaper than one of the bigger Incra products! Also, with the jig, you could use the "teeth" pieces (which are separate, unlike your widget) without the whole jig assembly in your router table and have a very small footprint with more range. If you have 2, you can make a slick X-Y table with high precision too. I really enjoy your designs, by the way, you should post some links for suggested drawer runners on your site. Keep up the great work!
You should check out the Incra Jig, you can find them pretty cheap on eBay and Craigslist and they give you about twice as much range as the Incra widget you used. It could be easily integrated into your router tabel
I realize this is a really old video, but I made my own incra router table fences many years ago. Back when incra first came out. Don't need to buy those layout markers. And no patents to worry about. Standard threaded rod does the exact same increments. Just cut dados into the wood and glue the threaded rod into them. Make another piece of wood with opposing threaded rod glued into it and presto. DIY incra jig!
@@superchile9640 Hi use bright steel threaded rod as have cleaner threads then make sliding jig of your design or like incra jig with sliding locking nut. Rod in each half of jig interlock when pressed together with locking nut then make up your scale to suit and you are on your way
Hello Stumpy, I looked at Menards and they do not have the trivet. Would you be so kind to provide the SKU number from the one you bought? It will be greatly appreciated!

Norm Abram meets Bob & Doug McKenzie meets Red Green. If that's the style you were going for, you've succeeded my friend.
I found it at Menards, but I expect they are available at other places if you look around. Try Bed, Bath and Beyond or something like that.

Would be great to see a video like this again ;)
Will the plans for the router lift be added to the store? I hope so because I'm planning on building a router table soon. Keep up the good work!
Great build and a funny video.
Thanks Stumpy
Hello Stumpy,
