There's one little "glitch" that I have experienced while playing my pokemon diamond that always makes me laugh whenever I see it. I say "glitch", but it's mostly a sprite error. Whenever there's a hiker sprite on the overworld, if you stand a few squares north of it, their eyes go from closed to wide open. I always imagine them saying, "Oh My", and I just start laughing.
Wile I was playing a couple times, I was riding my bike at full speed and at some certain spots my game would freeze. And every time I reload I went to the same spot to continue on but it froze again. now I know why it was freezing! XD

remember when I was scared of trying to void glitch, and then I couldn't stop thinking about it so I was like "fuck it! I'll do it, for the sake of Shaymin and Darkrai!". Spent 1 hour and finally got the glitch working and got into the mystery zone. In the end after a 3 hour process I finally managed to catch Darkrai (plus an extra 3 hours on catching Shaymin).
I played Diamond, this kid asked to play it for a while and he traded all of my legendary pokemon for his junk pokemon like furrets and stuff. Didn't play it again after that
There's a glitch in which you can catch both Darkrai and Shaymin. For Shaymin: When you enter Aaron's room in the Pokemon League, go back to the door you entered from and use Surf. It will lead you outside that room. Without moving, go right 200 steps, down 363 steps, then right 722 steps and left 18 steps. Use the explorer kit. Don't move, and just get out. Once you're out, go up and you'll find Shaymin. For Darkrai: When you enter Aaron's room in the Pokemon League, go back to the door you entered from and use Surf. It will lead you outside that room. Go right 200 steps, down 256 steps, then left 63 steps. Use the explorer kit. Don't move, and just get out. Once you're out, go left and then up and you'll find Darkrai.
there are two other possibilities that can happen; - the black void appears, but all collision tiles are still normal - instead of a black void, the exact tile of the route conjointed to west Jubilife city will transfer into north-east Jubilife city.
Does anyone else wish that there was more mystery dungeon videos that aren't spoilers? I wish you could do this stuff with mystery dungeon, but the game mechanics are so secured its impossible to do anything too crazy :/

On my pokemon diamond, The glitch with going onto the Spring Path, checking your items then going to route 214 and the music stopping has happened to me, except when I checked the items on the route and went BACK to the Spring Path, the route 214 music started! I tried to re-create this event and it didn't work, so I switched to my Pokémon Platinum and it worked. Maybe its a one-time only glitch?
It's pretty clear why people (including me) are complaining about how slow the battles in D/P are when you need to speed the video up in order to not put all your viewers to sleep.
Fun fact: Misingno. is in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, but I have only ever seen it while using an action replay. The way I figured out how to see it goes as follows: Step 1: load the game with a walk through walls (wtw) cheat enabled. Step 2: go to the city with the Pal Park and enter the Pal Park normally. Step 3: use the wtw cheat to exit the Pal Park without talking to the receptionist so your Pokémon is not properly put away. Step 4: when you exit the Pal Park everything should appear normal. If this is the case, continue to Step 5. Step 5: go to any body of water and use either surf or wtw and move around until you get into a wild Pokémon battle. Step 6: if you did all the steps properly you should get into a double battle with your supporting trainer being Pokémon Trainer TRAINER that uses the player back-sprite for its sprite and it will send out a Missingno. that, for some reason, has the shiny Pokémon animation play when it is sent out. Side Note: the supporting trainer will vary depending on where you get into an encounter. I remember that in tall grass encounters it will be the trainer from Eterna Woods. From what I can tell the reason that, at least from what I can tell, an error handling trainer is your partner on the water is because there is no partner trainer you can have when surfing. Also, I believe that the reason you have a partner trainer after leaving Pal Park improperly is because the game is unsure what to do with the partner character data so it loads the information for a partner trainer when you get into an encounter. *Important:* If you try to reenter Pal Park normally by talking to the receptionist after doing this, the game will crash. However, *IT IS POSSIBLE TO UNDO THE EFFECTS OF THIS GLITCH!* To undo the glitch do the following steps: Step 1: load the game with a walk through walls cheat enabled Step 2: enter the Pal Park using wtw to get past the receptionist. Step 3: once inside, if I remember correctly, save the game and turn off your DS Step 4: load the game without an action replay and exit the Pal Park normally. If I find out I didn't list the steps properly I will update this comment with the proper directions.
When I was a kid, I found a crazy glitch on Pokemon D/P/P. It allowed you to catch a ring of blue stars, similar to the ones a shiny Pokemon has. Here's how to do it: Step 1: Make sure you haven't led the girl through that cave at Victory Road which leads to Route 224. Step 2: Enter the room with the girl and get her to follow you. DO NOT LEAD HER THROUGH THE CAVE!!! Step 3: Leave the way you came. She'll wait for you there. Step 4: Using an Action Replay, enable the ability to walk through walls. Step 5: Go back to the girl and make her follow you. Step 6: Leave the way you came AGAIN. Step 7: Use Fly and get to Route 210. Step 8: Use Surf until you encounter a Pokemon. Step 9: Be amazed.
I was playing Pokemon Pearl today, I was in a house and saved and had saved and used an item. And wierdly something that never happened before happened, my character glitched, I got a call from prof. Oak, and my character became a glitchy block of wierdness. It was so wierd.
+Dont mind me in America we call it you can get more than one master ball legitimately. The lottery corner (I think that's what it's called) can give you more master balls if Pokemon is numbers match a number or something like that.
+Dont mind me you literally press a and it's pretty much random whether the lady gives you a master ball or not. it's not like a mini game or anything and it takes less than 1 minute.
I found an odd glitch in this game a while ago. At the start of a battle when you send out your pokemon, if you close your DS during your pokemon's cry, when you open it again, it's cry restarts. You can repeat this as long as the battle goes on. You can also still input commands while you do the glitch and finish the battle still doing it. I think once I was able to keep it going even after the battle ended, but this was a while ago when Diamond and Pearl were still the newest games so I don't remember too well.
There is also an a outcome in the black void where instead you get a forest that replaces jublife city You can actually interact with everything in it and mess around
That Route 214 glitch also worked for me when I just waited for the Spring Path soundtrack to finish and sprinted back to 214. Same effects as viewing the TMs.

The void glitch video link in the annotation doesn't actually take me to the video, and instead to your video talking about when the next pokemon game comes out, and I can't find the video when I search it on your channel. Is that just a placeholder until you finish the video?
There's also a glitch I found on diamond, I have not tested it on pearl yet. So how it goes is, you choose the grass starter, save the game when you can then power off the ds in the middle of saving. If you timed it right, it may take a few times, you will be able to repick your starter. This time instead of taking Turtwig, take Piplup. After you beat the Starly your rival will say, "Hey, [Player Name], your PIPLUP was great! But my CHIMCHAR was even better." or something along those lines. When you get to battle him on route 203 he will have the starter weak to water. I don't know how my 8 year-old brain figured this out back in 2007 but, when I tested it again after I beat the game and restarted it, the glitch worked. I don't know if it works for the other starters but, Piplup lovers should try this out.

I just found this glitch while shiny hunting for nincada. If you shut your ds right before you send out your pokemon at a presice time, and open the ds after a few seconds, the pokemon’s cry will sound out while the music is playing at the same time. The cry will just suddenly happen after the pokeball animation. Basically, the glitch delays the pokemons cry

Messed up my action-replay by cheating the game. When the ds online was still active. I'd catch shiny legendaries and use them as trade bait. Also my bro accidentally traded a real celibi(don't know if spelled right) so rip for him
The Choice item U-Turn glitch is also on Pokemon Battle Revolution for Wii. I recorded a battle on my alternate RUclips channel where it happened. I had a Crobat with NO choice item use a U-turn to switch into a Pidgey who held a Choice Band; but since that Pidgey knew U-turn, all it could use was U-turn. It was so confusing!
I loved the Sinnoh region so much, I perferred to walk everywhere instead of fly. That being said, I feel like people will hate me for this, but I just felt like gen 4 was so forgettable.
I think I remember people saying on a RUclips video that you could use the void to get cresselia and Darkrai but you have to count your steps and then save-restart and you'll appear on Newmoon Island.
the problem i have for my opinion is that after gen 4 they got lazy with the looks and names of pokemon i just dont like the looks of most of the newer pokemon after gen 4 then they had to get a whole new group called fairy which i think was stupid and made me hate pokemon even more :| i mean in gen 4 they were already running out of ideas from the looks of some but then it just got worse candy looking pokemon or balloon, garbage, and ice cream

I don’t know if anyone else has experienced this but while I was in the eterna forest i got in a double battle with the people on the right of the entrance but when I came back I decided to go left where there was not much trainers but when I got an encounter in the tall grass it was the double battle Pokémon from out last battle even though I was having an encounter in the tall grass but the thing is I could catch there Pokémon and I did I don’t know if anyone has experienced this but if you have could you give me more information or just say you have has that happen to you thank you :).
spring path music sounded different when you re-enter that area. for whatever reason there's notes missing when you first enter, compared to when you re-enter.
another glitch i came across on Diamond/Pearl, tho this one doed require hacks (via an action replay), is that when you have the "all wild Pokemon are shiny" turned on and you dress up a non-shiny Pokemon, the picture of it on the wall will display the Pokemons shiny sprite, even tho it should be its normal sprite
I haven't tried it on other versions but on pokemon platinum if a traded pokemon disobeys you when you use a priority move such as quick attack the move that it uses instead will also be priority
I was having fun watching the fog move around on my old copy of Pearl. To explain: my character was flailing around on her bike a lot. Then the game froze, with the music freezing too. Looking back, I was probably tweaking and didn't realize it.
I recently played Pokemon Diamond again and found an interesting glitch while fighting Cyrus: I had a golbat that managed to confuse and poison his Gyarados with poison fang and confuse ray. When low on health cyrus used full restore on Gyarados, confusion was cured but poison remained. At least that's what it seemed, only the purple icon of poison remained, it didn't suffer damage from it. It was weird.
I don't know if it works in other games on other Pokemon, but there is a glitch that when you get for example get a magikarp gets lvl 20, but you lose the battle, it won't evolve. I found this in a dubble battle in Pokemon platinum, but I probably work in more games
here's something that pissed me off, its a glitch. you cannot normally get Arceus in game, however there is an Action Replay cheat out there that gives you the Azure Flute key item that lets you get to where Arceus is so you can catch him. However, here's where the glitch happens, if the cheat is successful, it will erase all data on the Action Replay. You will no longer have access to any cheats, or the ability to enter new ones. This glitch also happens when using the Action Replay to get Prof Oak's letter to allow you to reach Shaymin. This happened on my Pokemon Diamond game, however if you do want to use those codes, it will not mess up your Pokemon Game at all, but be prepared to lose your Action Replay.
I got a glitch for you. If you the walk through walls on pokemon pearl and your partner is pokemon trainer marley with arcahine. And walk through walls with her you could have an invisible pokemon healing person with you through out the rest of the game, and will always have a double battle with wild pokemon and you can't use fly or ride a bike unless you use the bike racks. In hearthome city you can't go through or past the mark for amity square without freezing the game. The walk through walls though, if you go to the mystery zone just hope you'll not get stuck in it.
Gen IV is the generation most needing of a remake: Because the region and Pokemon in it were interesting but due to the DS being new at the time the features were unrefined and the battles felt slow. I'd love to experience this in a more refined way.

On my pokemon diamond, The glitch with going onto the Spring Path, checking your items then going to route 214 and the music stopping has happened to me, except when I checked the items on the route and went BACK to the Spring Path, the route 214 music started!
I tried to re-create this event and it didn't work, so I switched to my Pokémon Platinum and it worked. Maybe its a one-time only glitch?
It's pretty clear why people (including me) are complaining about how slow the battles in D/P are when you need to speed the video up in order to not put all your viewers to sleep.

Fun fact: Misingno. is in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, but I have only ever seen it while using an action replay.
The way I figured out how to see it goes as follows:
Step 1: load the game with a walk through walls (wtw) cheat enabled.
Step 2: go to the city with the Pal Park and enter the Pal Park normally.
Step 3: use the wtw cheat to exit the Pal Park without talking to the receptionist so your Pokémon is not properly put away.
Step 4: when you exit the Pal Park everything should appear normal. If this is the case, continue to Step 5.
Step 5: go to any body of water and use either surf or wtw and move around until you get into a wild Pokémon battle.
Step 6: if you did all the steps properly you should get into a double battle with your supporting trainer being Pokémon Trainer TRAINER that uses the player back-sprite for its sprite and it will send out a Missingno. that, for some reason, has the shiny Pokémon animation play when it is sent out.
Side Note: the supporting trainer will vary depending on where you get into an encounter. I remember that in tall grass encounters it will be the trainer from Eterna Woods. From what I can tell the reason that, at least from what I can tell, an error handling trainer is your partner on the water is because there is no partner trainer you can have when surfing. Also, I believe that the reason you have a partner trainer after leaving Pal Park improperly is because the game is unsure what to do with the partner character data so it loads the information for a partner trainer when you get into an encounter.
*Important:*
If you try to reenter Pal Park normally by talking to the receptionist after doing this, the game will crash. However, *IT IS POSSIBLE TO UNDO THE EFFECTS OF THIS GLITCH!*
To undo the glitch do the following steps:
Step 1: load the game with a walk through walls cheat enabled
Step 2: enter the Pal Park using wtw to get past the receptionist.
Step 3: once inside, if I remember correctly, save the game and turn off your DS
Step 4: load the game without an action replay and exit the Pal Park normally.
If I find out I didn't list the steps properly I will update this comment with the proper directions.
When I was a kid, I found a crazy glitch on Pokemon D/P/P. It allowed you to catch a ring of blue stars, similar to the ones a shiny Pokemon has. Here's how to do it:
Step 1: Make sure you haven't led the girl through that cave at Victory Road which leads to Route 224.
Step 2: Enter the room with the girl and get her to follow you. DO NOT LEAD HER THROUGH THE CAVE!!!
Step 3: Leave the way you came. She'll wait for you there.
Step 4: Using an Action Replay, enable the ability to walk through walls.
Step 5: Go back to the girl and make her follow you.
Step 6: Leave the way you came AGAIN.
Step 7: Use Fly and get to Route 210.
Step 8: Use Surf until you encounter a Pokemon.
Step 9: Be amazed.
This isn't a glitch as you used a cheat code... ._.

Why are people arguing on my post
I found an odd glitch in this game a while ago. At the start of a battle when you send out your pokemon, if you close your DS during your pokemon's cry, when you open it again, it's cry restarts. You can repeat this as long as the battle goes on. You can also still input commands while you do the glitch and finish the battle still doing it. I think once I was able to keep it going even after the battle ended, but this was a while ago when Diamond and Pearl were still the newest games so I don't remember too well.
In my personal opinion, Diamond, Pearl and Platinum were the best games.

There's also a glitch I found on diamond, I have not tested it on pearl yet.
So how it goes is, you choose the grass starter, save the game when you can then power off the ds in the middle of saving. If you timed it right, it may take a few times, you will be able to repick your starter. This time instead of taking Turtwig, take Piplup. After you beat the Starly your rival will say, "Hey, [Player Name], your PIPLUP was great! But my CHIMCHAR was even better." or something along those lines. When you get to battle him on route 203 he will have the starter weak to water. I don't know how my 8 year-old brain figured this out back in 2007 but, when I tested it again after I beat the game and restarted it, the glitch worked. I don't know if it works for the other starters but, Piplup lovers should try this out.

I just found this glitch while shiny hunting for nincada.
If you shut your ds right before you send out your pokemon at a presice time, and open the ds after a few seconds, the pokemon’s cry will sound out while the music is playing at the same time. The cry will just suddenly happen after the pokeball animation. Basically, the glitch delays the pokemons cry

The Choice item U-Turn glitch is also on Pokemon Battle Revolution for Wii. I recorded a battle on my alternate RUclips channel where it happened. I had a Crobat with NO choice item use a U-turn to switch into a Pidgey who held a Choice Band; but since that Pidgey knew U-turn, all it could use was U-turn. It was so confusing!

I think I remember people saying on a RUclips video that you could use the void to get cresselia and Darkrai but you have to count your steps and then save-restart and you'll appear on Newmoon Island.

While I do love me some Gen 4, Gen 6 introduced 3d graphics and mega evolutions. And gen 5 gave us animated sprites. But it is your opinion
the problem i have for my opinion is that after gen 4 they got lazy with the looks and names of pokemon i just dont like the looks of most of the newer pokemon after gen 4 then they had to get a whole new group called fairy which i think was stupid and made me hate pokemon even more :| i mean in gen 4 they were already running out of ideas from the looks of some but then it just got worse candy looking pokemon or balloon, garbage, and ice cream

I don’t know if anyone else has experienced this but while I was in the eterna forest i got in a double battle with the people on the right of the entrance but when I came back I decided to go left where there was not much trainers but when I got an encounter in the tall grass it was the double battle Pokémon from out last battle even though I was having an encounter in the tall grass but the thing is I could catch there Pokémon and I did I don’t know if anyone has experienced this but if you have could you give me more information or just say you have has that happen to you thank you :).

The second to last one can be used to go through the wall if you talk to the hiker from the left and press left when the selection screen comes up.
spring path music sounded different when you re-enter that area. for whatever reason there's notes missing when you first enter, compared to when you re-enter.
Maybe Defog is considered both flying and water because it is water vapour?
another glitch i came across on Diamond/Pearl, tho this one doed require hacks (via an action replay), is that when you have the "all wild Pokemon are shiny" turned on and you dress up a non-shiny Pokemon, the picture of it on the wall will display the Pokemons shiny sprite, even tho it should be its normal sprite
I haven't tried it on other versions but on pokemon platinum if a traded pokemon disobeys you when you use a priority move such as quick attack the move that it uses instead will also be priority
I was having fun watching the fog move around on my old copy of Pearl. To explain: my character was flailing around on her bike a lot. Then the game froze, with the music freezing too.
Looking back, I was probably tweaking and didn't realize it.
I recently played Pokemon Diamond again and found an interesting glitch while fighting Cyrus: I had a golbat that managed to confuse and poison his Gyarados with poison fang and confuse ray. When low on health cyrus used full restore on Gyarados, confusion was cured but poison remained. At least that's what it seemed, only the purple icon of poison remained, it didn't suffer damage from it. It was weird.
I don't know if it works in other games on other Pokemon, but there is a glitch that when you get for example get a magikarp gets lvl 20, but you lose the battle, it won't evolve. I found this in a dubble battle in Pokemon platinum, but I probably work in more games

here's something that pissed me off, its a glitch. you cannot normally get Arceus in game, however there is an Action Replay cheat out there that gives you the Azure Flute key item that lets you get to where Arceus is so you can catch him. However, here's where the glitch happens, if the cheat is successful, it will erase all data on the Action Replay. You will no longer have access to any cheats, or the ability to enter new ones. This glitch also happens when using the Action Replay to get Prof Oak's letter to allow you to reach Shaymin. This happened on my Pokemon Diamond game, however if you do want to use those codes, it will not mess up your Pokemon Game at all, but be prepared to lose your Action Replay.

I got a glitch for you. If you the walk through walls on pokemon pearl and your partner is pokemon trainer marley with arcahine. And walk through walls with her you could have an invisible pokemon healing person with you through out the rest of the game, and will always have a double battle with wild pokemon and you can't use fly or ride a bike unless you use the bike racks. In hearthome city you can't go through or past the mark for amity square without freezing the game. The walk through walls though, if you go to the mystery zone just hope you'll not get stuck in it.
Gen IV is the generation most needing of a remake: Because the region and Pokemon in it were interesting but due to the DS being new at the time the features were unrefined and the battles felt slow. I'd love to experience this in a more refined way.
