  • This week, I am visiting Scotland and revisiting some of the most memorable places that I visited back in 2015 when I was researching for my book, The Heart of Merlin (www.theheartofmerlin.com) A long vlog but some beautiful scenery and good stories as well.

Brilliant! I am planning a visit that way and stumbled on your video. Will there be a part 2?

Sadly, I don’t think so. But check out www.theheartofmerlin.com. I have a whole itinerary and photos of all the Merlin spots from my first couple trips.

Either you were a mystic in another life OR, more likely you are on your way to becoming one !

What ? No Bag Pipe Music ?
At the water hole it sounded like you might be goin' Pagan. lol
Of course, there's nothing wrong with that.
BTW the fields you were walking in after viewing the fort area, look like they've just been explored by Metal Detectorists ... as long as those piles were soil and not cow doo-doo ?
Also, in the rear-right corner of the Hartfell Spa there is a stone laying there that appears to have been used for milling Wheat/Corn etc. It has a pretty worn divet in it.
