Only 425 likes - come on it doesn't get any better than this!! I would love to hear Jeff and John Mayer exchange lead on this tune!
Pevar's technique is amazing (both of them actually). Just shows you not only don't need a doctor, but you don't need a pick either.
I just realized he's finger picking the guitar! Wow, just wow!!!
Terrific find for me who thought he'd found all the best music, how wrong am I!
My wife and I saw them in a small theater in Gardiner Maine. It was such a great show. I sat there taking notes on all the songs I wanted to learn during the show.
TODAY I MET PEVAR
This deserves about 100,000 more views.
These are two of the finest guitarists out there. What a great version of this tune!
Danny K still got it!! He is very famous in the studio world of LA in the 70,80,90!
Just found out about Jeff Pevar today. He's great!! Puts me in the mind of Larry Carlton at his best. Not sure how this guy slipped under the rdar for so long!
I have heard alot of Guitar and have lived a little and nobody quit has the tone Pevar has. It distinctive in my mind.
Clever how Don uses his little harmony machine. Tasty playing.
Just discovered Jeff from a Ray Charles video. Dude can play.
Exactly the same. Try it, folks!
Really nice! Thanks for posting, Don Odell .
Jeff Pevar is great!!!
Nice soulful voice too-reminds me of Hiram Bullock (rip).
Love it!!!!!
Brilliant! That TC unit Is amazing on the harmonies. I wonder what is being used to loop that drum track. It's all very clean sounding. Nice job. I've been a fan of JP since he played with Ray Charles. Frampton must be stoked over this.
Kooch is a LEGEND!!!!
Forget Eric... he's great.. but this is Jeff Pevar..and he is great. stop comparing... 2men 2 greats 2 whatever.. Love this guy,
Inspiring!
Pevar gives Crosby a great foundation of notes.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
super
Wow, is it just me or does Jeff's vocal style on this song immediately bring to mind Eric Clapton?
Don't awake poor Eric.
Jeff that solo tho. Shaweeeeet
Jeff pretty good
Would luv to know how JP gets that searing sustain in that solo.....wow
...grandi!!
😎🎸👍😉

awesome !!!
have bass and drummer will travel ;-)
I want to see a bass player thouugh
It's all pre-programmed
You can't do that kind of flying notes with a pick . Ask (heavenly) Hubert Sumlin.
Hello,
I just figured that you posted a comment on my page since this page seems to get redone every 2 months or so. anyway, thanks for your kind words, you might want to checkout 'cologne blues club'. cheers & regards from germany
Anyone know what kind of pedal he's using to create the vocal harmonies?
TC Electronics pedal called TC Helion harmony G-XT
:)
I have stayed away from listening to Danny Kortchmar because to this day I can't stand his guitar tone on Jackson Brown's "Running on Empty"
Hate it.
I like him with a Telecaster fairly clean.
Ashford n Simpson cover good but not as good as The Humble Pie's version that has a Gazzillion Hits on uTube haha
Jeff look just like Jeffery Epstein
Jeff's playing makes more sense than Danny's on this tune. Just sounds more fluid, flows. Great tune otherwise.
Maybe if Pevar wasn't so good.
Thats a lot of pedal fiddling and stomping.
