Hi.i have a 1999 peterbilt 379 with n14 cummins. I have a 5 o 6 pin data cable connector I can't use the ELD ..i need to put a 9 pin data cable connector n order to use the ELD.there is something I can upgrade. Like it. Adapter. Or change the full cable from the ecm ..eny help .. Thanks
Excellent Narration dude. It would be helpful for all if you could present a more clear picture for Pin-Outputs. so that the difference betweeen 6-Pin J1708 and 9-Pin J1939 could be seen. CAN is used in both of them. Though CAN has its speeds and Types aswell. +Thumb
Is there’s a place I can take my 579 Peterbilt with a Paccar ingene, I don’t want to take it to Peterbilt and get charged 10,000 or more😢I want to take it to a place where they know what the doing , I’m have the code j1939 network 1,2,3 I’m in Denver, thanks
We make that, and yes you can. Keep in mind that there are some differences between regular OBDII, Volvo/Mack OBDII, & CAT in GMC Trucks -- diesellaptops.com/Diesel-Laptops-9-pin-to-Standard-OBDII-Converter-Adapter-DL-OBD2-9.htm
