My favorite thing about the cool indie music line is there is a quick shot of Aaron Dessner on the guitar. It's almost like she's saying, "Hey, your indie bands don't seem to think I'm not good enough."

So, this music was written by her in the red era (2014), but was only released in the red (taylor's version). that's why the lyrics feel like old taylor, but the voice is how she sounds in her most recent things. Also, "I bet you think about me" and "All too well" are both from red and they're both about jake gyllenhaal, that's why the red scarf and all the red.

The actor who plays the 'Jake" character is Miles Teller, and the woman he married with the red scarf is Keleigh Sperry. Keleigh is his wife in real life, and they are good friends with Taylor. Keleigh was with Taylor at most of the Chief games, and Miles came to a couple.
And obviously Blake Lively and her adorable husband Ryan Reynolds are very close to Taylor. Girls nights are Taylor, Keileigh and Blake. Used to include Serena.
In the Folklore love trilogy: Cardigan, Inez and James. Those are the real names of Blake and Ryan’s daughters. I’ve never heard of a girl named James but I think it’s cute. There’s a picture I just saw where Taylor borrowed Ryan’s Deadpool outfit for a video. It was a snapshot pic. So funny. I’ll bet they have a great time together. Blake goes to the games, too. She looks FANTASTIC for having 4 kids! She looks great, period!! No one still knows what the name or gender of their 4th baby from 2023 is. It’s an old song that got cut from the original Red album, but during the re-recordings Taylor sang it with her current vocals and added it… hence, “From the Vault.” The Red album was her last country/country pop album.

All to well and songs referencing a rich dude who didn’t think she was good enough are almost always about Jake Gyllenhaal. He was the one she dated after John Mayer. He was also too old but not as much of an age gap as John Mayer. And she references him wishing he could take her back a lot. We are never getting back together is also about him. She made it poppy as possible intentionally because he used to talk down about her being a pop artist and how much he hated the genre so she wanted something super catchy and poppy that would get a ton of radio play so he couldn’t escape the song. She mentions the indie music he talks about loving in this one and wangbt. But All to well is also about him. And the moment I knew which is about him skipping her birthday. He also has said in interviews he sent her a nice guitar as a gift. But yet the dude couldn’t show up 🙄 the line on all too well about Brooklyn is also a reference to being Brooklyn broke which in some areas is slang for people who walk around pretending to be broke or poor when in fact they aren’t. Jake is from like old old money and worth like 80 million yet loves to pretend he’s some everyday dude going to underground indie shows etc. she mentions in this song his upper crust circle who shunned her once they stopped dating and his million dollar couch etc. there’s lots of little tie ins to him in quite a few songs. They had a short relationship in the public eye so people fave her crap for writing a lot about it. But from all too well we get the idea that they were on and off quite a bit without it being public knowledge.
