When I hear this, I think of satan.
The only thing I dislike about “sped up” versions of songs is the pitch is increased, if the pitch stayed the same as the original I think I would love it just that much more, still fire, still a blaster, and I still absolutely love DAEGHO! Much love from the great white North!🍁
If the pitch stayed the same during an increase of the tempo, it would create a lot of artifacts, which are unpleasant to listen to.
Lower pitch implies longer wavelengths. You can try to imagine the original vocal being sped up towards 128, and more, bpm, while retaining original pitch.
Also, even though this version is not perfect, as it also introduces artifacts, and does not take into account original "mixing moves", it is still better than retaining original pitch, while going up the tempo.
The same problems can be seen using "Warping" or "Flex-Pitch" in any DAW - if you do not use it, and pitch the sound up, it will shorten, in order to retain "originality", and reduce the amount of unwanted sonic artifacts introduced.
If artifacts weren't introduced, then we wouldn't need to do anything - RUclips's speeding algorithms would have worked perfectly. However, as you may have noticed, using it simply ruins the audio. If we speed up Bludlust (Original) 1.25x, then the LowEnd is completely ruined, the Kick disappears from time to time, and there's also unwanted Phasy (Flanger) effect introduced (making the audio sound "underwater"). Using 0.75x introduces similar artifacts. Going above 1.25x, or below 0.75x, brings out even worse results.
