Beautiful ! I’ve always loved the styling, power plants, sounds, drive ability, etc., of the Alfa’s. Never could find one in the states, found some in Panama when I was stationed there. But, these were not importable. Great cars and fast too when driven to it. Great resto, looks like a lot of work into it. Lots of European cars, north and south, had really thin metal and rust loved them, terribly!

Great job! How much it will be to restore a very rusted GTV in the US? I'm really interested in buying one but the majority of the 10k/15k range are very rusty. That leaves me a little worried.

Having owned both a 1969 Type 105 "1750 Spider Veloce" and a 1974 Type 115 "Berlina 2000" in period (both purchased new), the correct factory designation for your 1969 Type 105 coupé is "1750 GT Veloce." The Alfa Romeo factory did not use the moniker "GTV" until the introduction of the Type 118 transaxle cars. Refering to your coupé as a "GTV" is a misnomer.
