Not possible. The worms have turned. This can is not empty yet. And there are other cans full of worms, unopened. He also banned ''working from home'' back in the day, so ''working from the slot'', he couldn't possibly condone. However, as MD he did say in regards to MinRes employees ''I want to hold them captive all day long''... “I don’t want them leaving the building … I don’t want them walking down the road for a cup of coffee. We kind of figured out a few years ago how much that cost.” So yeah maybe it is possible, but Roebourne Regional Prison would be more appropriate. Shout out to all the old hard done by Karratha Rigging crew. How sweet is this.
My mate works at home all the time and is with Minres Chris may of said that but to me in seems fare from true considing I have multiple mates working for minres and it seems like a pretty cruzzy place to me not to mention that the accommodation on sit is basically luxury they could of just setup dogboxes like some of the accommodation I have seen around the pilbara like fuck some of the accommodation at actual venue's up this way are 1 meters wide by 2 meters long and you toilet in the same room cheap as shit manily used during shutdowns😂
@@bakedtoasty ''some of the accommodation at actual venue's up this way are 1 meters wide by 2 meters long and you toilet in the same room''...? I've told you 50 million times not to exaggerate. lol What, do you sleep standing up, or do you wrap yourself around the dunny bowl? Luxury I say to that. I'm old school, it was 2 to a room, no air con in my early days. Today it is all top shelf accom or the GOOD Tradesmen walk. I wouldn't get outta bed for what MinRes pay. Hence why its ''cruzzy'' at Chateau Ellison.
When I saw the corporate news this morning, I was waiting to listen to you guys discuss it. I read the other comments and see some complaining about it as boring and too mainstream. I appreciate you guys covering it and I don’t find it boring. I’d rather hear your guys opinions than many others. I like hearing the discussion about big companies, companies of all sizes. I prefer MC >= 100M to the more speculative and risky micro caps.
I like MoM, but I think you look at this matter with too much focus on quantum and analysing the misdemeanours whilst missing the bigger worry of which the Board is aware. Use of company personnel for personal matters is clearly a hangover from the days when he ran it as a family company and, dare I say, very understandable as an SME! But all other matters are a clear divergence of the standard expected within a public company and the worst issue, (which MoM seem oblivious to), is the divergence and trust broken with the workers employed by and communities involved with MinRes. This is an enormous break of the trust and goodwill that have taken decades to build. Values. Looks at the website. This is very grave at a human rather than a governance/ fiscal level.
Used the company to acquire personal items. Like what? A personal computer as part of a purchase of 1000 for which anyone could be part or a personal jet ski which only he had the option for?
We've had a fund manager every week cobba - check the library 🤷 On MIN - understand for some people it's repetitive or uninteresting by now but the reality is our audience is hooked too - verify yourself with views on recent eps. Personally I don't blame them. I have said it before and ill say it again, this is the most significant story in corporate Australia and the most significant one of our generation. I dont dare want to compare our commentary to the great work of others but ponder this... Did Aston stop writing about Alan Joyce because it was repetitive? Feedback taken on board regardless and appreciate all listeners view. Bear with us if it's repetitive - there were two other stories today.
While I appreciate the coverage of MIN, I feel MOM’s niche is stuff not already covered extensively by mainstream media. Of course it is relevant and needs discussion, but 3/4s of your show dedicated to a 7B$ company feels like a poor use of your talents. Maybe I don’t represent your average viewer but I love the obscure stuff BCI, SNG, nuclear, MLX, Rusty D, ect. Fucking love your work but bring us the shit that nobody else is talking about! PS my (shitty) attempt at constructive criticism long love MOM!
Appreciate the constructive feedback mate and will take on board. Our philosophy is to follow our own curiosity and bring that to the show - however broad or niche that interest is
One positive from this. It’s rumoured CE has subscribed to the MoM newsletter
Ellison seems to have got off lightly
The wealthy always do.
Justin Langer in MIN board nothing to worry about. Thanks
Min Res board,, should look into the Tim Toberts relationship..
even if Chris Ellison goes to Fremantle jail min would be ok. He would run min from jail.

Great ep! The people reading the episode title, listening to the episode and then complaining about the episode… not even Jesus can save them
Riioghto money miners
Chris is the greatest man who built this whole company from scratch. Very disappointing they’ve forced him out
THANKS

Don t pay your parkingfine next thing they take your car away.

Regulators have no choice but to get involved in this - shareholder support, attestations and the board whitewashing attempt will not cut the mustard.
MinRes, get ready for the big sell! Sum of parts is greater than the parent. Let her rip!!!! Time for CE to cash in!!!!
He’s losing some money but he’s glad he’s not seeing jail.
Fraud
Money laundering.
Where is the yobbo bloke?
Roightooo
Matty sounds different on the intro
Sort of ...
