    Would've liked a lot more if you gave this one the Hoenn Legendary treatment with the hard timpani instead of the kick + snare, but still this is so cool

    I like your arrangement here, but the simplistic RSE percussion makes the weak composition from the original theme more evident.
    What makes the original sound minimally interesting is the percussion because nothing actually happens on the melody lol. It seems to be a song without a lead instrument, a very weird theme IMO. Good job anyway :)

      I honestly agree lol. I really did not have a lot to work with and with the gba sound limit, I had to simplify the composition even more. This meant that the percussion also had to be simplified. I wish I could have done more with this, but I was limited. Thanks for your feedback!

      @@AlphaRemaster If this was done in FRLG, you'd probably expect to hear the rest of the percussion through the Noise channel. It could have been done in RS too, but you don't really hear that in the battle themes since the styles were different.

      @@SKaYy94LmAo Yeah definitely. I really wanted to stick to the RS style for this. I might try to give this a FRLG approach in the future, so I don't have to hold back as much lol
