      I'm fasting at TrueNorth now - and my long covid 'phantom smells' have already disappeared. The experience is very amazing.

    I 46 years old. I fasted at TrueNorth last year for 10 days. It was one of the best experiences of my life. I’ve had an irritable urinary track for many years. After the fast, my urinary track was very calm and as long as I have a low added sugar diet, it continues to stay that way. It has made traveling easier.

    Fasting had made a huge impact on my life. I've just weight and body fat. But far more than that I've become able to understand my body cues and I stop eating when I'm full

    I eat mostly WFPB with occasional salty oily sugary treats on the weekend but damn Dr Goldhamer makes me want to go clean

    He knows what he’s talking about. Trying to adjust to low fat diet, always feel hungry, never feel fully satiated 🙁

      I found a few of days on a monodiet of oatmeal 3 meals a day really packed in the fibre and turned off my appetite (I've lost and kept off 100 pounds) then straightforward to carry on WFPB sos free eating pattern

    Q: Does water-only really have benefits over a more safe minimal calorie vegetable soup fast, which also includes ~500mg sodium or so as needed, and would ensure electrolytes?

    • @coenfrieda
      @coenfrieda 10 дней назад

      You are right about electrolytes that is what I hear at other video’s about fasting. Myself I now started clean eating and work to IF. One week 2 meals acday than 1. No pasta, potatoes, pasta or bread. Drink sauerkraut juice sober in the morning. No alcohol no snacks no fried things. Lots of vegetables fresh or frozen. Rice cooking 24 hours before consuming let ut rest and getting cold, refigerated and than warm it that minimalizes 60% of the calories. How are you doing are you fasting? Yvonne fm the Netherlands

    What about fasting and gout? Can fasting increase the risk of a gout attack. I haven't had a gout attack in years as I gave up alcohol completely, but I am wondering if I could be at risk by fasting.

      It is possible to submit your details to True North and Goldhammer will talk to you about whether you are a good candidate for fasting. I had an experienced Naturopath to supervise me and do various blood tests to ensure good kidney and metabolic health before undertaking extended fast

    Just curious: how hard is fasting on a vegan diet?

  • @absolootely2571
    @absolootely2571 2 месяца назад +1

    2nd day into a 7-day fast. Is every day as hard as this or will hunger pangs & bad thoughts like tossing it in fade away in coming days?

      Its the old Habits that make fasting hard ......it gets easier The more u try to fast........ this is probably my 100th time trying to
      Fast ....turning down
      Food is much easier
      Now ....I'm actually on day2 of a water fast as we speak😊😊

      Hi how are you doing? Did you go through the tuff times? I never have done waterfasting did juice fasting as examples of Jason Vale Super Juice Me and the australian Joe Cross. Did that 10 days in 2014. Now almost 11 years older, have to do something about my health issues and came to this video. Myself I believe in clean eating first and IF before waterfasting because of the side effects we can have. Yvonne fm the Netherlands hope you are fine. Thank you.
