Love mine. Added rubber bed mat and floor mat as well as hitch. Still need my Kolpin windshield but will get soon. It’s the nicest one out there as it doesn’t block vision where it folds, all the others do. Thx for watching, Dave
You will love it! I have the same year model with 4X4. I was not on a waiting list but I looked for one over a year. Same as you, farm use, I love the tight turning radius. Make sure if you buy a windshield, that it will mount with side mirrors. I bought one but hadn't put it on yet because of the warm weather(GA). 31 hours not one problem!
Thx Alan I appreciate it! It’s already come in handy for sure! I was on the list for a 4x4 but this came in first and I truly don’t need a 4x4 for my needs. Where are you in GA? I’m in Monroe, 30 min south of UGA. Thx for watching! Dave
Dave, I'm in Wheeler county. I didn't need the 4X4 either, it was all they had and I wasn't about to let it slip out of my hands. Never locked it in 4X4, hadn't locked in the differential either. All kinds of goodies for them online. @@bdradley1
@@Dixietwister Yes I have been buying goodies for it already. Funny I was on the list for a 4X4 and you just the opposite! I did well I feel, with the roof and mirrors it was $8950 out the door. Used ones are going for more than that!
Appreciate the video as this is what we are looking for. Local dealer only wanted to sell me the fast models with all of the bells and whistles. We have a small farm and our SxS will be used for work only. Hope to get my hands on one of these soon.
Thank you spooker I appreciate it. We are exactly in the same boat when it comes to what we want and why. The dealer and manufacturer, I believe, want to concentrate their profit margins on the higher end models. The dealer still tried to upgrade me to a higher model when this one finally came in for me. This model does everything I need and then some. It was $8950 out the door. Thx for watching! Dave
Wow -- was surprised to hear about that wait! I'm not looking for a while yet, but am thinking about a 4010 Trans, so I can go between 2 and 4 passengers with the expandable bed. I like the idea of the 4 seat option for times when we have family or visitors to our property. That said, I have sometimes wondered if it would be better to get 2 of the SX models, so my wife and I could each have one available as needed.
I think the supply and demand may be equalizing some, It appears that dealers are starting to have them on the lots more readily. I have a buddy who has both the 2 and 4 seater, he got the 4 for the exact raeson you speak of but has found that the 2 seater is the one that always gets used. I knew that in my application the 2 seater would be best. I have a 4 door truck but its always just me so I could get away with a 2 door if they were still available lol ! Good luck and thx for watching! Dave
Very nice, I purchased a Honda pioneer 1000 back in 2020. Best investment I did, use it around the place haul pull, anything you want . You will be very happy with your mule..
Thx I appreciate it, I wouldn't change and haven't changed a thing. I have more than enough ground clearance and have crawled over whatever I have needed to. Thx for watching
I still love it and wouldn’t change a thing. I use with my horses and around farm, thought seriously about adding an electric ram with switch on dash so I could dump but it’s not a major issue at all to dump manually. I don’t even use the dump option nearly as much as I thought bc of my tractor with front end loader. Now that I have it, I use daily and sometimes just go out for a quick joyride. You will love yours and congrats. I’ve added the mat in bed and on floor as well as trailer hitch. Still need windshield but it’s really only for winter to keep cold air off of you. I bought a winch but never installed as it’s never come up that I needed it! Thx for watching, Dave

I lucked out in 2022, I picked up a 2022 SX LE XC FI, slightly used from my dealer. The previous owner wanted to go on trails, this is not a machine for trails. It only had 9 hours on it. I added a winch and tow bar at the dealer and added mirrors myself. Great machine.
It’s not good for trails? Not even just for a slow drive through? I’m looking to pick up the 2023 mule sx 4x4, an heard nothing but good reviews. I’m looking to buy one just basically to use as a vehicle, but idk about the speed. I guess what 30kmh probably is its top speed?
@@fenbay Its great for trails in a pleasure mindset. If you want to go mudding and 45mph through mud holes and jumping, then no. 25mph is about top speed but thats plenty fast for me. I absolutely love it,
@@bdradley1 gotcha, an nah I’m not looking for one to do all that. I just seen this on a dealer close to me for roughly 13k but the 2023 model. I just need it for some travel as I live in a rural area, so from my place to in town store location. Save on insurance for a vehicle and just use this as a daily driver. But I also need it for some yard work and other duties as I live on 70+ acre land. So it’ll be good for some light snow removal instead of paying a butt load for almost a km driveway. But with that all being said I’ve heard nothing but great reviews for the mule from Kawasaki, but I also don’t want something that’s only goes 10mph. So 25mph is roughly 45kmh so not bad of a speed for a daily commute of 10km (6mi) until the winter weather comes if so…
