I suspect it's been heavily edited after the fact... it's a "live" performance that was then sent through the mixer

She’s Colombian. She was born in Argentina to Colombian parents, but that’s it. she then moved elsewhere as a young child
Man, that part towards the middle where she is going off pulls some buriied emotions out of me every time. She sounds like a warrior goddess going into battle.
Mixing is on-point! Kudos to the engineers for making Tei Shi and the other musicians sound great.

The way she expresses the absolute frustration, anger, and sadness of the woman in the song’s story is incredible -especially during the chorus, where the woman screams in emotional agony: “Aaaahh aahhh ahhhh!!!” She transforms the character’s agonized screaming into a beautiful sound.
