Seems you're artists that just so happen to build. I love your modern approach to construction and the structures you've completed. BTW, great choice in music. Brings another level of sophistication to your project...😎😎
I'm sure you guys here this alot but; you guys are .... " FREAKING AWESOME "...!!!! No doubt hands down the most creative channel out here. I mean, its like you have an idea in your head and you just say..screw it. Lets make this thing. Lol Every time i see a new posting fromyou guys im like thats it, everybody find something to do, daddy's gotta watch this. And keep the noise down..lmao!! Thanks for sharing & waiting for the next video. Best of luck! That is a big undertaking.
The pencil to ER collit thiny is SLICK! The same idea with a diamond point drag knife solves a LOT of thinking on one of my upcoming cnc projects quite nicely. Too damn cheap to buy a ready made for a one shot deal with a tight cost margin..
Nice trick. Those robots are cool, but that pencil flex a lot. If this is a big problem maybe some low power engraving laser module would be a better option?
Hi, love all your proyects and videos, they shows fast and clear the most of a complex process. I would like to know if you use finger joints for glulams or you simply joint the lumbers by the end grain. Thank you.
Lignum, awesome video. I live on an isolated island and want to make something similar but much smaller using pinewood. What type of glue should I use?
it appears that you made two beams right? not just one. Don't I see you stacking a second one on top of another at 2:58? If so then that is 2 done and 586 to go,,,,,,,,,, Right?
True hahaha, I planed one to the final thickness for the final shot so I could start editing asap. I actually made 8 molds and the plan is to make 32 beams per day in two work shifts and making new molds every other day..
It's not quite wrong. Although he milled 2 beams together, there was a first one thick planned to its final dimensions. That was the very first one completely done.
exactly, a 2 or 3 millimeters deviations on the beams with hardest curve won't be noticeable to the naked eye, they will be 12m above the ground, also the plan is to make oval holes on the steel braces so the pins can be easily adjusted..
I don't steam, the wood is spruce.. the maximal thickness can be calculated by dividing the arch radius with 200. for example if radius is 2 meters, maximal thickness would be 1 cm. Hope I helped! :D
Min 7 max 15 minute is the good time to see what you doing specifically with your project.... and keep upload video continuesly... love your job so much..🖒🖒
All good, super cool. How do you replace the board and zero the cnc after the beams have dried to the exact position for the CNC to drill and cut? Cheers, David.
I screwed in some blocks to the table to which I place the boards, and I mark board orientation so the placement is always the same. Only the Z axis changes while X and Y stay the same.
we really like what you do, but i must say with disapointment that your video's are way to short, we like see more details please, time laps and that some what crappy music makes not like to watch. just my opinion hehe
Just brilliant to see this executed! Clearly identified robot as a fantastic tool, however, the artist has the vision to orchestrate it all!
Loved it
I find woodworking on this scale fascinating. The music was perfect. And gotta love that industrial pencil sharpener :-) Clyde
Thank you Clyde, Glad you like it! :D

Lignum, very nice job! Always love your projects that you share. Definitely one of my favorite build channels- always learning new things.
Wow Ahoda, It makes me feel so motivated when I read a comment like this, thank you so much! :)
You keep them coming , and we'll keep watching , can't wait to see the final assembly , good job.
Thank you, Glad you like it, hope you'l like the rest.. :D
lignum thats so cool! I love how you put a pencil in the kuka arm thats very cool! 588 wow! great job!
Thank you Eli! Yeah, the pencil seems to be working for now hehe.. Glad you like it !:D
GIGANTIC structure, it all starts with a pencil :-)
You are right :D
I'm sure you guys here this alot but; you guys are ....

:D Thank you so much, You just put the biggest smile on my face!I Thanks for the good wishes, I'l need all the luck I can get hehe..
Thats a lot of beams! Wow! 😲
Yeah, now as I glue more and more them, I'm noticing that the shop is getting kinda crowded, and I just started.. o.o
Genial la música!!! Y el trabajo porsupuesto buenísimo
Again, great project, great music sync and super cool pencil sharpener.... can't wait for the rest. Tech drawing at begin looks pretty complex.
I'm glad you like it! :) the model only looks that way, It's actually quite simple, it just has many pieces..
Very nice to see how you create your own methods and tools.
Glad you like it Oscar! :D
Your like a mad scientist of carpentry
Ahahaha, that's the first time I heard that ;D
I love when a weekend starts with a good video.
Haha, glad to hear it ;)
The solution with the pencil I think awesome. I wonder how the project looks in the end. Very well done. thumbs up
I'm glad you like it! I'm curious how it will look also hehe..

:D I'm glad it gave you an idea! I'm sure it will work!
In my opinion, It´s a really good video and I love that music
Thank you Enrique! :D
Excellent way to start the morning
wow,, that's an ambitious project
thanx for sharing it with us
Thank you for watching! :)
This is just awesome! great work in a credible presentation ... well put in a very simple and nice way. congrats.
Very cool process lignum! Thank you for sharing this!
Thank you for watching!
Nice job as well! Congrats from Rio de Janeiro.
Amazing video, can’t wait to see what else you make.
😱😱😱 Engineering at scale!
Yeah, I cant quite grasp how it will look in real life.. :)
Nice trick. Those robots are cool, but that pencil flex a lot. If this is a big problem maybe some low power engraving laser module would be a better option?
it would be a more precise option for sure! But for this purpose the precision is within the tolerances I need.
PORCODIO, quanti ne hai ancora???? Grandissimo!
Great professional job.
Glad you like it :D
Wow. That’s very interesting. Great video
Thank you Gabriel!

Loved this video, thanks!
So majestic
Great job, the best song
Thank you Juli! :)
Lignum, awesome video. I live on an isolated island and want to make something similar but much smaller using pinewood. What type of glue should I use?
I use two component melamine glue from akzo nobel. I's specially designed for glulam, it's water resistant and fire resistant..
2:43 You have a robot, but no dust collection?
What are you brushing onto the table at 2:34?
neat and clever, good work
Came to learn about Glulam and stayed for the wonderful music! Wish someone would help me identify this classic 🤔
It's in the video description:
MUSIC: Habanera by Bizet, Les toreadors from Carmen by Bizet
Genuinely- this video is better than porn!
I’m a woodworker and I could watch this all day long. Great video 👏👏👏🇬🇧
Ahaha, Thank you so much man !😂
3:07 for how long do the planks need to be compressed like that?
This type of melamine glue takes 8 hours to harden at room temperature.
This is really incredible. What country are you based out of?
it appears that you made two beams right? not just one. Don't I see you stacking a second one on top of another at 2:58? If so then that is 2 done and 586 to go,,,,,,,,,, Right?

Ok, good. I thought I was crazy there for a minute
It's not quite wrong. Although he milled 2 beams together, there was a first one thick planned to its final dimensions. That was the very first one completely done.
Awesome...thanks for sharing that...
You make awesome videos homie!
: D
Thank you man! :D
Cool vid!
Fantastic work. How do you account for the spring back on this? Or is it not as much of an issue because it's free floating and you have more margin?
exactly, a 2 or 3 millimeters deviations on the beams with hardest curve won't be noticeable to the naked eye, they will be 12m above the ground, also the plan is to make oval holes on the steel braces so the pins can be easily adjusted..
Incredible. Any idea on an estimated mass for something like this?
Im spechless, maybe because of the music! ;) great job indeed!
Thank you man! :)
Hi, is it possible to know what glue is used? Thank you
Bizet, nice choice.
Which airport? I'd only travel to the airport just to see it with my own eyes!!!
Hello, what tree are using for gluing.what is the thickness.Do you steam the tree before use?.Thanks.
I don't steam, the wood is spruce.. the maximal thickness can be calculated by dividing the arch radius with 200. for example if radius is 2 meters, maximal thickness would be 1 cm. Hope I helped! :D
Thanks!
Nice....Pencil hack is awsome....Which airport? Franjo Tuđman? :D
ZL Split :)
Did you make the giant beams in pt. 2 as well!?!?
No, they were made in other company specialised in large span glulam. My Job was to overlook the production and to assemble the structure.
Thanks!
were to i get clamps like those , ?? using a impac driver , to cool thanks
I made those, there is a video on how I make them here on my channel. You are more than welcome to check it out!
Make your video longer please.. i always enjoy the process
This is the first time someone said that! Thank you! :) I always try to shorten the video as much as possible to keep the viewer interested..
Min 7 max 15 minute is the good time to see what you doing specifically with your project.... and keep upload video continuesly... love your job so much..🖒🖒

By trial and error. Not
I can see 587 vids like that, no problem at all
Is Lignum similar Ligma?
What kind of glue is that
Another great vid, but the music,,,, awesome,,,,
Why is there no suction on gauge?
Cant wait!
:D, I'm nervous when I think about having to assemble all of them..
Thank you:D

Hello my friend please tell me what program you create the Manager program for robots thanks in advance
Hello, I use rhinoceros with rhinocam and irbcam software.
How much is a license for the program and is there any cracked program
Must be a top secret project....
Well, I'll post the final assembly after the opening..
At least 587 video's to go.. yay!
The robotprogram seems to be IRBCAM
587? What are you building in Croatia? This has to be some vineyard restaurant or something.
It will be in the new airport terminal! :)
I didn't anticipate that, I bet it will look awesome, can't wait to see the finished product.
Cheers
Is it in Frano Tudjman airport?
Ide li ovo na zagrebacki aerodrom? AKo ide kad ce instalacija, pa da svratim :D
Haha da bar, bilo bi mi blize.. Ide u Split:)

You need more robots and pencils.
Маладэц вам!
How it's the name wood?

I just want know what is Machine
It's Kuka kr 150 robot arm with krc2 controller.
I don’t have a problem getting the machinery! But where do I get the pencil?!!????????? Lol 😂 😝😝😝😝

are you tired of beams - yet? LOL
I'm sure I will be after this project hehe ..

Show me know how to make it without these robots
There is a video called: "Making curved beams" on my channel where I do it without the help of robots. You are more than welcome to watch it.
@@lignumchannel Nice, i will watch.
Thanks
Lignum rlz!!!!!
Haha, you too! :D

fnaf music
Without music please. Even if you sound like chipmonks
Pro tip: If you hit the mute button, the music goes away.
Jasonian we want to listen woodworking sounds. Not music.
