I would say prototype to SR-71. However, YF-12 is a cancelled interceptor model, which later succeeded to A-12 high altitude reconnaissance aircraft. After a year when A-12 is introduced, it is retired and developed into SR-71 Blackbird, which was in service until 1998. All 3 models were able to go faster than 3500km/h. In this video, YF-12 is labelled as Air Superiority while it is interceptor in real life (which I think it is possible because of speed).
@NowshZ not really. The raptor constantly outpreforms the Eurofighter most of the time and most of the time they lose is due to restrictive ROE for them. And besides, their "losses" still result in scores of enemy destroyed.
@DangerCI123 Actually the YF-12 just looks a lot like the blackbird but is not. They were real planes, although not flown for long, and there are subtle, yet noticable differences in their design.
Ok I have a question. Is there a multiplayer option, like online? Or just a campaign ? And are there any more modern missles that actually follow targets, not heat seaking missles, GPS guided?
@wellerocks You can also carry incredibly unrealistic numbers of missiles and ammunition. You guys really need to choose something a bit better to argue about.
if it's the 29A it'll just be a MiG-29 with the cool radar and 27ERs, but sadly no guided Air to Ground weaponry. the 29SMT does fix that problem quite a bit, but not by much. hence why the Su-27s pretty much became the standard.
@pballer92118 first of all the F-18 isn't regarded as cheap anywhere. It costs about 3 times as much in maintenance and overall costs as a Gripen and it consumes almost twice as much fuel when having flown the same distance and same speed. The price for a new F-18E super hornet is about 75 - 90 million dollars per plane which differs from the Gripens 50-60 million dollars per plane and the Rafalés 60-70 million dollars per plane. Both of them cost almost 1/2 in maintenance compared to the F-18E
@gketchup777 And not to mention, the F-35 can only reach Mach 1.6 yet it has similar speed to the Gripen which reaches Mach 2+. And the handling is supposedly "super great" with the F-35 according to Hawx, yet it's meant to handle like an F-16 which equals not that high demands. It has slow roll rate and it can't climb. Good handling? And I find it disturbing how they only label the Gripen as "Saab 39", when there's A/B, C/D and soon to be E/F versions of it with huge differences.
Kind of. YF-12A was an earlier prototype and a cover up name for the SR-71 Blackbird Series. The YF-12A was also only really the Air Force's version of the CIA's and NASA's SR-71s.
Well, the music was written by Tom Salta, the guy who writes music for the US Army TV spots. His music is spot on and he was even nominated for an award at the Hollywood Music and Film awards for his work on HAWX. Now.. what does that make you?..
@pballer92118 And hence they need to know the specifications into the slightest details for the battle analysts to do their simulations, even crucial information that the public doesn't know about is released and taken in account for. But the maximum speed is very low, the hull is very fragile, the plane moves very slowly and it can't climb for shit. So the Australians summarized it up as "The plane that can’t turn, can’t climb, can’t run". And they've got all the info at hands.
In 8:45, that's the same plane used in EndWar. Only it's called the XA-20 Razorback rather than just the A-20 Razorback. Not only is this game supposed to take place in 2021 at the latest (which is one year after EndWar's setting) but Scott Mitchel is still a captain by this year rather than a general. Talk about your inconsistancies.
and also Mig MFI, Mirage 4000, Rafale M, Mig 23, another F 15, Su 39, Draken, Viggen, A-12, F 18 Harvest, FB 22, and J 10 and EDI but this last 2 doesnt work online
@pballer92118 Some specs are classified, but to meet the costumers evaluation, all export plane manufacturers have to show the specifications of their planes to each government. There are no secrets regarding the "specs" that I've written off. The Australian government has made thousands of battle simulations over the pacific and they came to the conclusion that in air-air, the F-35 wasn't especially trustworthy, loosing most of its battles against IAF Su-30mki's and Russian Su-27's & Su-35's
@bkzabit No. The MiG-29 is most certainly not one of the best planes ever built. I mean for crying out loud it was designed to be stable at first, which means the entire airplane body was designed to be stabled when all other airplanes that came out during the same time was designed to be unstable but controlled by computers. It wasn't cheap, it wasn't effective, it's infamous for having broken down almost twice as much as F-16's, it's unreliable and it costs almost twice as much in maintenance
@bkzabit yes the mig is legendary but u put 6 migs up against 1 F22 the migs would not get with in 50 miles of the F22 b4 becoming apart of the atmosphere
The one and only game about jet fighters, which I liked. My first action game will have different kinds of sky jets, but the game isn't a flight arcade
@xhighspeedx yeah, and they gave the YF-23 Raptor a 4.5 while giving the F-22 a 5 in air-air. The YF-23 was according to US information sources, better in almost all aspects in air-air fighting. It was the budget that made them go with the YF-22 instead. And giving the F-35 "Great handling, high Armor and high speed"? That's just absurd on so many levels. The F-35 is known as "he airplane that "Can't turn can't climb, can't run". It's hull is so fragile, small arms fire can destroy it.
@andoose It's not a bloody flight simulator. It's meant to be a fun game to play. All things considered, I think they did a pretty decent job at mixing in adequate elements of realism without taking any fun value away.
well, you could have said somethimg about those planes. for what they a re useful, what are there weaknesses? maybe with some you can get special medals very easy, or shoot enemy planes down? thats not more than a diashow, sorry.
@ 2:37 I think the correct label is "F-15F Strike Eagle": A proposed Single-Seater version of F-15E. PS: I want THAT PLANE in the sequel, though. I favor flying solo. :D
@chrislgrooms Yeah well that is just something they do the enhance the gaming experience, would be fairly boring game if you could only engage 6 planes and return back home. However the performance of the planes in the games is important.

Just picked this game up yesterday! How could I pass up a 1.99 price tag!
It takes WAYYYY too long to level up in this game :/
@footballrules7 The Eurofighter, F14A, F22 raptor and the SU 47.. these are my fav.
@killbill219 Well, the F-15 "Active" is just a combat trainer, it's used to test a pilot's combat skills with an instructor in the back seat.
@NowshZ not really. The raptor constantly outpreforms the Eurofighter most of the time and most of the time they lose is due to restrictive ROE for them. And besides, their "losses" still result in scores of enemy destroyed.

Mig 29 should be multi-role fighter... 😂😂😂
if it's the 29A it'll just be a MiG-29 with the cool radar and 27ERs, but sadly no guided Air to Ground weaponry.
the 29SMT does fix that problem quite a bit, but not by much.

8:27, Best plane

TURN UP THE VOLUME AND HEAR THE MOST AMAZING MUSIC EVER !
Kind of. YF-12A was an earlier prototype and a cover up name for the SR-71 Blackbird Series. The YF-12A was also only really the Air Force's version of the CIA's and NASA's SR-71s.

@jet2547 Yep. But some of them are not used or were just never tested in combat (like the YF-12A)
@TheCheesyQuickscoper in hawx 2 there are takeoffs and landings
@shutup735 there is music, its called in game music
In 8:45, that's the same plane used in EndWar. Only it's called the XA-20 Razorback rather than just the A-20 Razorback. "F-15 Active" is one of the easy stalling jets in this game...
I also played with the Su-35 Super Flanker i think it could have been better...
There's ingame error - MIG-33 doesn't exist, it's called MIG-29M (for Modernised)
@zerocker45 there is the MiG-21 look at Part 2 but the MiG-23 i don't know but the enemies had it
(noob question) if you choose tha harrier can you use the vtol abilities? i dont have the game thats y i ask
does this game have any missions with a usable runway that i can takeoff or land on?
if i buy the pak fa will it be avilible on the first tom clancy game or just the second one?
The F-15C is an Air Superiority fighter, While the F-15D is the actual StrikeEagle. Its the muti-role one that can attack ground and air.
Is the YF-23 available for the player in H.A.W.X 2 ?
and also Mig MFI, Mirage 4000, Rafale M, Mig 23, another F 15, Su 39, Draken, Viggen, A-12, F 18 Harvest, FB 22, and J 10 and EDI but this last 2 doesnt work online
why are there no videos of the YF-12A?
@zerocker45 hehe only our hellenic air force has these bombers still in operation
@Mamboi Are the DLC planes in here?
YF-23 is not called the Black Widow and nor does it have thrust vectoring.
cool but the planes parameters are wrong... how could the raptor have more handling than the terminator or berkut??? huge mistake
@Mamboi It's set up as H.A.W.X 1. I'll take you're word.
does anyone know if you can get the "F117-NIGHTHAWK" by reaching a set level rather than campaign?
it is, i use the X-29 myself. The YF-12A's only advantage in online play is the target override pod.
@pballer92118 Some specs are classified, but to meet the costumers evaluation, all export plane manufacturers have to show the specifications of their planes to each government. were did you get that game and what game system
are these planes from the packs the released???
That last one is sick!
the sr-71 is called the Yf-12 in the game and i have it
so many damn mirages n the rafale is a gud get in general n the Gripen
what capture card do you use?
That first (MIG-29 Fulcrum) is my favorite fighter. what is that 6 after last fighter?
@bkzabit No. The MiG-29 is most certainly not one of the best planes ever built. I mean for crying out loud it was designed to be stable at first, which means the entire airplane body was designed to be stabled when all other airplanes that came out during the same time was designed to be unstable but controlled by computers. @nightruler666 did you teach yourself how to spell? because that would explain why you spelt 'by' wrong.
HOLY SHIT. There are my two favourite planes. The F-22 Raptor and SU-47 Berkut.Im downloading this wright now.
@bkzabit yes the mig is legendary but u put 6 migs up against 1 F22 the migs would not get with in 50 miles of the F22 b4 becoming apart of the atmosphere
how many planes are on total
@andoose did you figure that out all my yourself Einstein?
The one and only game about jet fighters, which I liked. My first action game will have different kinds of sky jets, but the game isn't a flight arcade

@andoose
It's not a bloody flight simulator. It's meant to be a fun game to play. All things considered, I think they did a pretty decent job at mixing in adequate elements of realism without taking any fun value away.
can i play multiplayer on pc??? with a friend?
hey that f-15E strike eagle is not an f-15E strike eagle!, F-15E stike eagles are two pilots and have fat side fuel tank thingys!!
@Mamboi No it's not. It's got the same layout as H.A.W.X 1
what is the best plane?
how many planes are there?
The F-117 Nighthawk was awesome still can't believe that they decommissioned it like 2 years ago.
are these planes in hawx 2
Only as a prototype. It never went into full production, and is more of a demonstration jet.
The Saab Gripen looks sweet as well.
well, you could have said somethimg about those planes. for what they a re useful, what are there weaknesses? maybe with some you can get special medals very easy, or shoot enemy planes down? thats not more than a diashow, sorry.
i hope they put the F22 navy version in Hawx 2
In real life the yf-12 came before the sr-71. But the yf-12 program was cancelled
the YF-12A is a Blackbird
@1bearcatf8f I think russia messed up when they were naming it's role, more like air useless.
@ 2:37
I think the correct label is "F-15F Strike Eagle": A proposed Single-Seater version of F-15E.
PS: I want THAT PLANE in the sequel, though. I favor flying solo. :D
@Mamboi yay finnaly a person like you on youtube

I like how the Japanese F16 is in this game.
@CrazCod ArmA 2 does
how come I dont have the razorback that you unlock at mission 19 cuz i completed the campaign twice on norm and hard
Razorback is DLC plane
Is it just me or is the Thunderbolt popular? Sorry, it's been over a decade since I had any intense interest in jets.
this game is good but stuck on 2 mission if anyone can give me help let me know
@Ryman120 aww u wrote a wall of writing for me? how cute.
OMG 8:19 Su-47 Berkut!!
I always knew that the Su-47 was a weird looking plane. Now I know it's also an AWESOME plane! I'm gonna buy this game.
Hawx 2 or 1?
is ther a sr71
no se puede despegar ni aterrizar??
@chrislgrooms Yeah well that is just something they do the enhance the gaming experience, would be fairly boring game if you could only engage 6 planes and return back home. However the performance of the planes in the games is important.

@Maxables yes :P
i love the F-22 and the AC-10 Warhog raptor! ;D
