This is a very difficult song to sing as a duet. But they smashed it!
I think it was a great performance. The judges didn't liked it much because they think Esme could have better vocals, but considering that she wasn't well all day, it's still a good performance and I'm happy she was better for being on stage.
I was worried when she said she felt so dizzy, and then they got her climbing on that block! Best of the night for me.
whew the temp in the room has gone up heaps, excellent number, Esme and Tobias, that was on fire. Loved it!
I disagree with the judges - I really liked this performance. The only issue I can see is that wasn't in a great key for Esme. The arrangement was also shortened, which did not allow for a great buildup to the climax. If not for these things, I'm sure that this would have been an absolutely soaring performance.
They did her dirty with the key for The Power of Love too.
@@elphie93 Unfortunately there have been a lot of bad choices of key across many of the songs for many contestants :( In this one, the arrangement exposed Esme's harsher sounding lower notes without giving her much opportunity to hit her sweet spot.
Wonderful performance, very weird song choice (not unlike many other choices in this show).
Esme and Tobias is the best Donna and her husband from the west end

Esme might be out next week if she didn't step up, she keep getting save and this week her acting challenge save her, unless Stephanie or Stevie stumbled down on their performance then Esme might get save again.
