The UK experienced a period of hyperinflation and everyone is gaslighting the population about it.
I have entirely switched to budget brands from the cheapest stores, and I am still spending more than I was a couple of years ago.
When I saw a packet of chocolate biscuits in the supermarket for £2.90 it really hit home how crazy prices have become.

I'm 52 and English I can tell you it's never been easy for the working class the winters have always been too long and summer too short , the taxes have always been too high and I have often wondered why so many people would want to emigrate here.
What has changed however for the worse is the violent crime rate that seems so common these days, and the rents and house prices have massively increased.
I have started to think about one day leaving the UK but I honestly wouldn't know where to begin.
I enjoyed your talk and your English is fine.
    God bless .

This is what happens when you vote for the extreme-left, this is their vision, no one is allowed to be free and feel happy, except for the criminals and rapists that they protect and the pedos, the leftists are criminals and pedos themselves so it is only natural that they protect their own.

There is still plenty of money in the UK but only a tiny number of people have it. If that doesn't change then the UK will complete its transformation into Brazil or Russia. My family are all here, I am 38 so probably too old to bother moving and my mortgage is much cheaper than the rent would be for the same place, so I am lucky, but the UK really was such a lovely place 20 years ago and it is shocking when you see how far it has fallen since then.

Britain has never been a cheap place to live and the weather has always been shall we say .. unreliable lol, but i do agree our economy, cost of living crisis, housing etc has taken a dramatic turn for the worse maybe say since the "plan demic " but it has been in steady decline for decades.
Mass uncontrolled immigration in recent years has also played a big part in changing this country's culture and draining its resources .

Sorry to say but that's some cope right there. I've had the privilege of living in Northern Sweden between 2012-2022, and I can honestly say it's an entirely different and much more peaceful world there, even now.
Sure, there are issues in Sweden also similar to UK (high crime, drugs, high benefit intake, gangs, unaffordable housing etc) but this is literally reserved to Southern cities in Sweden, specifically cities like Stockholm (to a lesser extent), Malmö and Gothenburg especially - basically cities where large groups of migrants have been dumped without a plan to integrate them, which has ended up with parallel societies which are simply incompatible with the host nation.
I kid you not, for the most part in Northern Sweden, these problems simply don't exist anywhere near on the same scale as in the South to the point where I never saw any news or crime in the general Northern area.
