It's possible that Axl's stopped time is, in reality, just an- and this is an exaggeration- infinitely slowed time. Slayer just shrimply punched so hard he moved infinitely faster.
In the second clip slayers super ignores time stop because one vision requires a “hit” to be made to activate. Since it’s a reversal, when axl goes to use one vision the “hit” to activate time stop is activated during slayers invincibility frames, so it doesn’t connect and time doesn’t stop. Neat little interaction, but this is doable with any other reversal supers if timed correctly as well!

I think the reason this happens is because most supers have 2 frames of startup after the super flash (Axl's time stop activates frame 1), while SMH only has 1. So yeah he's faster than time.

This means it’s still in its invuln frames, which every other super you showed either didn’t have any (May whale is a projectile, Ram calvados is a projectile, Sin RTL is only invuln on startup and you caught it at the tail end of the first burst, etc.). Literally almost every super beats time freeze because it’s coded as a strike. A special strike that gets through even HMC, but a strike nevertheless, and hence unable to pass through invuln frames.
