Thanks! I'm going to try this. One question though - I thought the temperature of the sensor had to be consistent with the shooting temp...or is that only for darks?
Nice video mate. Do you have a video that covers creating bias frames on the Dwarf2? Or can you outline the steps in your reply please? Thanks in advance.
Well I don’t know if it’s me or the dwarf. I wasted a whole morning trying to shoot flats. I’m using my iPad and an app with the brightness way down, like a light grey or darker. I’ve tried all kinds of different exp. Settings 2sec,1, 1/4,1/2 and lower. I keep getting a statistic number of 4095. Only one I got 1550 and it was l1/3 sec. I tried to increase it and little and bam4095, frustrated beyond words
Like I say , I got one set that came out just a bit over 1500, shot at .1 sec 20 gain . I tried .16 @20 gain and got 4095. I’m going to have nightmares about 4095 lol
@@leonardorser3455 ignore the app screen, it seems to have a mind of its own, sometimes it goes bright sometimes dark. Your light source needs to be very dim and even then you may need some sheets of paper to dim it further.
Thanks ., clear skies
Thanks to you!
Hi am from the dwarf fb group thanks for the informed video
Great, glad you found it helpful.
Really nice how to. ❤ If Linux is the pc’s OS then scp, sftp, or even wget can be used for file transfer from the dwarf.
Many thanks and perhaps with your help we can make a video on using these protocols sometime?
Thanks for this video
No problem

Yes, that's for darks, flats are to do with optical aberrations which are not affected by temperature.
hello ,
is possible to track ISS with dwarf 2 ?
thanks
I very much doubt it I'm afraid.

Just shoot like lights at the shortest possible exposure with gain same as lights and the lenses covered like you would for darks.
@@DeepSkyShed many thanks for clarifying that mate.
