Correct Justice Dhingra your observation is hundred percent correct. Had it been a murder allegations against the CJI who has killed his staff. What would have been the recourse taken. As such when the CJI himself has prima facie declared innocent , the formation of the internal committee and it's conclusion would be a wastage of time . In the present context the correct procedure would have been better if the matter being reported to the Honorable President of India who could have formed an impartial committee containg members of national importance inclusive of two former CJIs. She allegedly promised to get him a job at the Supreme Court, quoting a price of Rs 10 lakh. In the complaint, Naveen Kumar claimed he gave her an advance of Rs 50,000, the same day on the Supreme Court campus. When three months went by and no job transpired, Naveen Kumar claimed he approached the woman, who then threatened him saying her husband was a policeman. In the complaint, Kumar also noted that Mansa Ram, who had introduced him to the woman, died in January 2019. Alleged payment made in June 2017. Complaint filed in March 2019. After 22 months. Further, the only alleged witness dead. Is this a strong case. The woman has applied for a bail in this case. Justice Dhingra was rightly calling this case a farce and mischievous case.

Please Read Till END, Don't Judge So Quickly: I am not saying whether accusation by that women on CJI is true or false. But there should be a proper Mechanism in judiciary do deal with it. I am saying this because law working on precedence set by previous judgments. Justice Dhingra seems only credible and sensible person among all justices because he is only one in favor of following "rule of law" in it's true spirit. Felt sad after listening to other justices due to their inherent biases. If Judges are biased then how can a ordinary citizen expects justice to be delivered by judiciary if perpetrator is member of judiciary (I am not saying CJI did anything wrong but hypothetically if some member of judiciary breaks any law in future). There should be a permanent, transparent and independent (from govt and judiciary) redressal mechanism which deals with cases against member of judiciary, so that faith in system can never be shaken by any such event and our judiciary becomes more robust than ever.

CJI may not be as innocent as is being made out to be.He should be suspended and a through enquiry must be made.

I am not saying whether accusation by that women on CJI is true or false. But there should be a proper Mechanism in judiciary do deal with it. I am saying this because law working on precedence set by previous judgments.
Justice Dhingra seems only credible and sensible person among all justices because he is only one in favor of following "rule of law" in it's true spirit. Felt sad after listening to other justices due to their inherent biases. If Judges are biased then how can a ordinary citizen expects justice to be delivered by judiciary if perpetrator is member of judiciary (I am not saying CJI did anything wrong but hypothetically if some member of judiciary breaks any law in future). There should be a permanent, transparent and independent (from govt and judiciary) redressal mechanism which deals with cases against member of judiciary, so that faith in system can never be shaken by any such event and our judiciary becomes more robust than ever.
Djingra Sir is absolutely correct we need these type of judges nd people also 🙂
