Very helpful video! However, I have learnt the other way to check for collapsing pulse. Some books write that "Feel the radial pulse with the knuckles of your right hand and lift the limb with your left hand grasping the patient's fingers".

She is checking the pulse with the use of her thumb which is a wrong practice because the thumb has its own pulse and can be mistaken for the patient's pulse
The thumb pulse is pretty weak though. Just saying.
British Guidelines still favour use of thumbs, while AHA favors 2/3 finger method
As far as I know, u can check using the thumb as it has a weak pulse and u are checking for a living person to indicate the character and the rate of the pulse, u are not checking if he is alive or not so it can not be mistaken and yep for me I use the other fingers not that thumb practically

What is a positive collapsing pulse? The text book does not say what we're looking for either
The thumb pulse is very weak and the brachial pulse is much stronger. The no thumb rule is a common misconception and originates from cardiac arrest scenarios. In someone with no pulse (while your bp is up!) people have mistaken their thumb pulse for a sign of life. In routine live patients you should not have any trouble.

It’s too silly to examine the pulse for 30 sec and then multiply it because changing in heart beats could occur after 30 sec
so we have to examine it for 15 min and multiple it by 4 rights?
Normal pulse. Count for 15s and x4. If you suspect a pulse of abnormality then go for a full 1 mintute

I was flabbergasted to say the least ,mainly because it was a little girl I miscarriaged! Other things she went on to tell me were very accurate as I said I was 25yrs old at the time of the reading & I'm now in my early 50's
Well my youngest Son had my first Grandchild & I felt such a deep connection to him even before he was born. I figured it was because it was my first grandchild. But when he was handed to me for the first time I had this overwhelming feeling of familiarity
& deep connection to him. I was in Love instantly! Then he moved & I saw his neck ! He had a tiny mole the left side of his neck!!!! Then he looked right at me & stared & I knew I just knew he was the soul of the daughter I lost!
He's three & I have such a bond with him! Sometimes I feel bad because he will cry for me & not his Mommy or my Son & there's no consoling him until I come. I can't tell you how many nights I had to go over to their house & put him to bed or calm him down,, because he only wanted me.
I have never told my daughter in law ,whom I love dearly ,because I wouldn't want to hurt her or my Son. I'm Mimi & he has my whole heart💙💙💙
